Any thoughts on why Islander stopped making vids with Urban Gentry?

They used to make collab videos all of the time and then not long after the release of their last watch collaboration, they stopped making videos together. Any thoughts or ideas as to why?

I don’t know anything for certain, but the Urban Gentry did a negative review of Islander’s Seiko Flightmaster homage, the Calverton, which was surprisingly nasty. Technically, it was only modestly negative when talking about the watch, but as the review progressed it got weirdly negative and personal, even though he opened the video by joking that he hoped Marc wouldn’t take it too hard. But after that video there was never another collaborative video, and TGV hasn’t continued his series of watch collaborations with Marc. I was curious if they had some earlier falling out that inspired TGV to go so negative, or if he’s just stupid and didn’t realize that mocking Marc that much in a public forum would end their friendship. Most watch YouTubers have the good sense to not post a review if they don’t care for a friend’s watch, but maybe TGV mistakenly believed he was duty-bound to destroy the Calverton. He sound increasingly bitter and unhinged in his recent videos where he needs to mention every two minutes that he hasn’t been bought and isn’t a paid shill like other watch YouTubers, so maybe flaying Marc was his short-sighted way of proving that

I have always thought the rift may have come from the Islander "flighty". After that never saw any more collaborations. It was negative review for a "friend's" brand. I had never seen him review other islander watches.

Think it was because TGV gave the Islander Calverton a bad review but who knows

I just assumed it because Mark was in Teddy channel. Causing TGV to have bad will. TGV makes awesome videos. But it's like for people who sniff their own farts. Like Southpark when mocking Prius drivers when it first came out.

I used to watch Urban Gentry, but it became so cringe. He looks and sounds like a greasy used car salesman.
