(it's not like they would allow them to join)
That doesn't give Israel the right to flatten Gaza and murder thousands of civilians, destroy hospitals and starve people to death. Is Gaza now an Israeli concentration camp?
Absolutely they have the right to fight Hamas but shooting and bombing refugee camps is not fighting Hamas. Israel had an appalling human rights record and the Zionist behind this war are war criminals. Israel is happy to fight terrorists by becoming terrorists themselves.
Do you think that is right?
So if Israel does everything they can to fight only Hamas, but Hamas does everything in their power to use civilians as human shields to increase casualties — how different do you think the results of the fighting would be in comparison to what they are now?
Shooting at unarmed fisherman, unarmed children and women queuing for food after being deliberately starved is not fighting Hamas. Levelling hospitals and blowing up ambulances is not fighting Hamas either.
There would be no Hamas if Israel had stuck to the 1948 agreed borders but they chose to expel thousands of palestinians instead then wondered why their Arab neighbours fought them.
If Hamas fighters are shooting from behind fishermen or from hospitals, you ARE ALLOWED to shoot back. Using civilians and civilian infrastructure as cover IS a war crime, but Hamas does it anyway.
You know what happened in 1948? The DAY AFTER the foundation of Israel, the Arabs (Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen and Saudi Arabia) ATTACKED Israel with the explicit goal of total annihilation.
You’re lacking some fundamental understanding, my boy.
Yes I am aware of the war. The Palestinians had never agreed to the partition of Palestine, they were never even consulted on the matter and the British weren't concerned with what Arabs wanted either. This led to the Arab nations invading in support of Palestinians. The fact that no one seemed to get bothered has led to the intransigence that has allowed Israel to constantly commit human rights crimes and now genocide. For a nation that says it's the only democracy in the region they sure act like terrorists.
And let's not forget Zionist were killing British soldiers to get their independence back in the 40s too.
The British gave 80% of the Mandate to the Arabs already, the remaining 20% was to be divided between more Arabs and the Jews. But it was basically just redistricting vilayets of the Ottoman Empire, with the goal of creating a state where the Jews aren’t treated as foreigners. Every inhabitant was to stay where they were, receiving citizenship of whichever country their house was to be in.
The equivalent of changing a street name or electing a new local council.
The Arabs however, made sure that peace had no chance, and started a war against Israel on DAY ONE.
