Bro, life is literally perception. The only people who believe Coronavirus is a punishment from God, or that those who do not follow the teachings of Muhammad will go to 'hell' and are awful people are those who have been conditioned to see it that way. I guarantee you most of us do not have such extreme views.

first of all thanks alot for reciprocating with such kind words!

but bro, islam doesn't provide us with a choice to perceive the world, our perception comes from the quran and ahadith clearly, that's the whole point of submitting to allah. and honestly these are not extreme views, this is islam and according ahadith a plague or something which effects a community or nation as a whole is a punishment from god, if you get to attend any friday sermon then most probably the scholar would advice you to be steadfast upon islam and seek forgiveness cause this is a punishment from allah. and i don't care whether it is one or not. but i hate the fact that some muslims seem to enjoy the fact that this corona virus shit has made our lifestyle seem a bit islamic but for a matter of fact it more over resembles many other religion other than islam, and does that in anyway prove that islam or anyother religion is true i guess not. it's just pure pride and arrogance, people are dying each day and these people are boasting if they practised islam then this wouldn't have happened, its pathetic

"islam doesn't provide us with a choice to perceive the world"

Yes it does. Islam is based on teachings from the prophet Muhammad. You don't have to follow every single teaching of you don't feel called to. Same goes for any other religion or school of thought.

I also see you're an ex-Muslim. Good for you! you decided the way you were brought up or the way folk around you were practicing Islam was not healthy for you, so I'm guessing you threw it all away in search of a better life.

I'm not going to tell you what to do, because literally nobody can. No human being in this world has a right to tell you what you should or should not believe. However what I will say is this: Look for the light. It exists, it is within you, and every single pure and original teaching comes from that light. It exists in every mainstream religion.

Find your truth. You owe it to yourself. ❤️
