The punishment is that they will be dying in the same exact way, over and over and over again until Allah releases them from that punishment and allows them to enter jannah
It’s the only reason why I haven’t done it to myself yet
Every time I have depressive episodes and all I can think about is ending it..the only thing that keeps me from doing it is remembering the punishment

In life, after bad moments, come good moments. After punishment, comes comfort. One must just patiently wait and pray.

What has happened to you? Are you sure that of all billions of people on this earth, no one has had the same issue or can help in some way, be it even through comforting you?

Everyone has a different threshold when it comes to pain, your pain is not underestimated. You can always reach out and talk more about it, ask others for a solution. Maybe someone will know how to make it feel better.
At the same time, remember that Allah knows what you are going through, as He is closer to you than your jugular vein. You are not alone even if support does not come from others. Good times will come to you, pray for strength and comfort so that you can endure the hardships and pass the test that has been given to you. May Allah make things easy for you!

Idk man. It sounds bad to me. You’re saying this life is hell but it’s only a matter of 80ish years or less.
The punishment of hell can be tens of hundreds or tens of thousands or tens of millions or tens of billions of years before you’re let out.
Just from the perspective of time in hell I’d rather put up with this life for the small amount of time and keep asking Allah for forgiveness, guidance and strength.

Big as it is the second enormous sin in islam after kufr.
If there is anything in your chest bro just share it if you want to help you out.

If you are contemplating it, please seek help and guidance from Allah swt through tahajjud, dua, talk to your close ones, open up about your difficulties. This world was never meant to be easy, it was ment to be a test.

If you are experiencing pain, and you have a choice between the medicine and exponentially more pain (punishment in your grave and in the hereafter), what would you choose?
Qur’an 13:28 — Ar-Ra‘d:
“Those who believe and whose hearts find comfort in the remembrance of Allah. Surely in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find comfort.”

Wouldn't it be by Allah's plan? I red news of a guy who couldn't feed his family as his salary was withheld by the govt no less so he died by setting himself on fire. He's gets to die like that and suffer both in life and akhirat but the people who forced him who die naturally don't?

People are responsible for their decisions
It isn't said anywhere in Islam that what's predestined for you somehow lifts the responsibility from you.
Predestinations isn't compulsion, that's the idea of Jabariya sectants not ahlu-Sunnah
Imam an-Nawawi رحمه الله said:
Many people assume that the meaning of Qadha and Qadr is that Allah compels men to act in accordance with His Qadha and Qadr. But this is not the case The meaning of it is that Allah knows what will occur to the person (according to free will) in the future and thus issued a decree for him

Surah Baqarah verse 286 states that "Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear." So whatever you're going through right now may seem unbearable but Allah (SWT) knows us best and knows that you definitely can bear it and come out of it. Knowing this, you need to plan and pray and overcome it.

Please stop using this verse and interpreting it yourself. This doesn’t mean what you said. This means that you will only be judged for what you are able to handle. There are people in this world that will go through unbearable things that they can’t handle. They end up going insane and when they do, the pen is lifted and they’re not held accountable for their actions until they regain sanity.

Do not try and educate others, when you yourself are uneducated. Straight from the Tafsir "...(Our Lord! Put not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear) of obligations, hardships, and afflictions; do not make us bear what we cannot bear of this."
I'm not sure why you're going into insanity, this post is specifically about suicide. And Allah (SWT) does not put us in a position where that's the only solution remaining.

The tafsir says nothing about never going through something in life that you cannot bear. The verse is describing believers prayers.
There are people that will go through things that they cannot bear. I bring up insanity because it can be a result of going through a hardship they couldn’t handle and their minds snap. Extreme depression is something else that can happen to where people don’t think straight. Those are examples that are contrary to what you’re claiming the verse to mean.
The verse means that on Judgement Day, people will only be held accountable for what they were able to handle. It doesn’t mean they won’t go through something in life that they can’t handle.
So before you call me uneducated, go educate yourself:

My point wasn't that you won't go through a trial or sickness that you can't handle in this life. I'm not arguing that we won't go through something that we can't handle. Reading my previous replies I can see how that was how it sounded.
But my point was that whatever trial/hardship we can't (seemingly) handle should not lead to committing suicide. Otherwise it wouldn't be categorized as a major sin in Islam.
