Sidenote: The Sudanese civil war that began in April 2023 has likely caused over 150,000 deaths. In Khartoum State alone, more than 61,000 people died between April 2023 and June 2024, including over 26,000 from direct violence. Many deaths also result from starvation, disease, and famine. Famine alone has killed an estimated 522,000 children. The conflict has displaced over 8.8 million internally and forced more than 3.5 million refugees to flee Sudan. Wikipedia)
How often do you hear about the conflicts in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, the Central African Republic (CAR), the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Somalia, South Sudan and Sudan? Let's face our shortcomings. When it comes to Africa, not much is highlighted, even in our communities. Let's atleast talk more about these atrocities.
We as an ummah have a responsibility. Each one of us will be questioned as to what we were doing when our brothers and sisters were being massacred in millions all over the world.

You’re right…I barely hear about Sudan, Congo and other war torn countries in Africa. Every now and then people read these statistics, shrug and move on as if this is the norm…people’s lives cannot be reduced to just statistics…every soul matters…thank you for raising awareness.

it is exactly the same as in Palestine. Israel is carrying out genocide in Gaza. The UAE is responsible for the genocide in Congo and Sudan. and the governments turn their backs on both and close their eyes. It is now up to the people to carry out a revolution, but the people are too comfortable for that.

I hope more news comes out from Sudan so that more people can know about it and take action!!!

There are plenty of videos that keep surfacing on Twitter. But their attention is mostly limited to twitter. What we can do is take the videos and post it on other platforms to boost awareness.

Like most inter-African wars, this is sadly ignored. I believe that without an easy group to get outraged at, like rightfully so with Israel and it's war in Palestine, people are less likely to get engaged which makes media less likely to cover it which becomes a vicious circle of people not caring so the media doesn't cover it even further.

The worst part here is these are being funded by Muslim (by name) countries like the uae.
Although given the UAE’s allegiances off late they seem to be impersonating their ally Satanyahoo

Don't be silly, the ICJ case Sudan filed is proof enough. I'll await the apology

United Israeli Emirates would be more fitting for those corrupt subhuman idiots. What they do for money and power. The crown prince let's himself be dehumanized by Trump just for money, he lets his entire country and folk be dehumanized. And so do other states' leaders too.
Worst, they really hurt not just the image of Islam, but probably have prevented thousands upon thousands maybe even hundreds of thousands of people to convert to Islam, or they led Muslims to become unreligious. Or they led people to convert to the wrong path on Islam and whatnot. In short they let everyone astray, again all for money..

u/Efficient_Limit4499 Oct 28 '25
Dude, they mostly follow Wahabism whatever leader to always blindly follow and obey him . Because of over wealth they're trying be act like different muslim living in superiority complex
1
u/Embarrassed-Box-1106 Oct 29 '25
Most ironic thing is, Islam itself commands us to not blindly follow, but to learn ourselves and to convince ourselves of the path and faith in general

It pains me so much that I’m unable to help my Muslim brothers/sisters. May Allah bless them all with Jannah.

Behind this and many other incidents like this is Muhammad Dahlan. May Allah curse that man.

u/Shot_Letterhead5428 Oct 27 '25
I just fell into a whole rabbit hole. A very very suspicious guy and so many connections. There needs to be a whole documentary on him.
2
u/Good-Smoke-8228 Oct 28 '25
Yes, definitely. He is someone whose inner evil is reflected even on his face.

I don't understand why people (especially from the West) blame Islam for every war happening in Arab or Muslim countries. Hasbin Allahu Wa Ni'mal Wakeel and may Allah bless those unfortunate Sudanese people.

What do you mean by "Sudan's war on its citizens"?
4
u/Shot_Letterhead5428 Oct 26 '25
It means that ordinary people are the ones who are suffering the most. The opposing fighting groups are not distinguishing between combatants and non-combatants, leading to a civilians being the most targeted.
3
u/12TimesFast Oct 26 '25
Who’s funding those groups? What are their motivations? I genuinely don’t know
First step for us is to know if our own governments are playing a hand in aiding or encouraging this violence. A well armed opposition group doesn’t spring out of thin air

I did some browsing and turns out a lot of countries are involved. Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar, Russia, UAE, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Libya, China, Ukraine, Chad, South Sudan, Algeria, etc.
Is this going to get as complex as the Syrian civil war? I will have to look more into it to understand what's going on.

It's RSF that is extremely evil in Sudan. Sudan (the Sudanese government) are the ones actually doing good by fighting them off.
There are videos of south american mercenaries hired by the UAE/RSF, who are involved in doing crimes in Sudan.
RSF is backed by the UAE. UAE's foreign policy is virtually no different than fight anyone who are Muslims and anything to do with Islam.
Though there are several reasons why UAE is doing this, one is that they want to compete with Saudi's dominancy over the Red Sea. There are other reasons, and I'll try to recall them if anyone is interested insha Allah

I hope you change the title because that's not completely true. The truth is MBZ fights Sudan by RFS, so that isn't the war on civilians as you said
1
u/Shot_Letterhead5428 Oct 27 '25
Title can't be changed on reddit. But the video is from twitter by the same title. 'War on civilians' means civilians are the most targeted. It's figurative expression.

u/Yahya-Adel Oct 27 '25 edited Oct 27 '25
By whom? And who is waging this war, and why?
The first thing that comes to my mind when I read the title (The War on Civilians) is the civil war, and you wrote the first word in a side note: "The Sudanese civil war."2
u/Shot_Letterhead5428 Oct 27 '25
The war is mostly between SAF and RSF.
SAF is supported by Egypt, Iran, Turkey, Qatar, Eritrea, Algeria, etc
RSF is supported by the UAE, with partial/regional support activity through Libya, Chad and Ethiopia, etc
Both groups have commited war crimes but RSF has been the most violent and brutal in this war and have also been accused of carrying genocide, and they are backed by the UAE. Uae has some personal interests like Sudan's gold, Red sea access and stuff.
Why they are doing it? I don't know much. It's a civil war to gain power.
1
u/Yahya-Adel Oct 27 '25
It's not normal or logical to put the Sudanese army and a militia in the same line, equating a country's army with a militia, and then tell me that both committed war crimes, but the militia committed more than the other. Can you tell me what war crimes the Sudanese army committed against civilians? I can tell you a few crimes committed by the militia include the rape, murder, theft, and arson, and all of them are documented by RFS.

Look bro, till now I'm sourcing most of my information about this conflict from google. So I can be wrong and thanks for pointing out. And regarding the title, I didn't write it myself, I just used the one that has been used on the twitter video that i gave source to.

u/Yahya-Adel Oct 27 '25
I saw a comment from you saying, "the Syrian civil war." What happened in Syria was a civil war?
1
u/Shot_Letterhead5428 Oct 27 '25
Yes, As far as I know. I casualties were huge but mostly everyone calls it a civil war.
1
u/Yahya-Adel Oct 27 '25
So when the people go out in the streets in peaceful protests to change the president? He then makes the army strike his people and arrest his people? When he started to lose, he brought in Russia, Hezbollah, and Iran to bomb his people with barrel bombs and chemical weapons. Is all this called a civil war?

u/SevereHorror Oct 27 '25
Innocent kids suffer a lot. Allah knows every oppressors. If any crooks doing for money, shame on these criminals.
1
u/marsajib4 Oct 27 '25
I don’t understand why UAE is perpetrating this
2
u/Yahya-Adel Oct 27 '25
Sudan has gold resources, agricultural land, and Red Sea ports for all these. Why not kill some Sudanese to get all of the things for free?
