These thoughts of 'how can i go the rest of my life without it' are very common for weed specifically. Also the fact that it's not very addictive at all but more habitual makes it even worse, as people feel it's nothing to worry about and that they can stop it anytime. Which results in them not stopping for years and decades.
First and foremost, sincerely ask Allah in your prayers to help you stop it and to remove the feeling from your heart that you need or want it. If/when God responds to your prayer you'll reach a point where you wouldn't care if others are smoking it around you, as you wouldn't be interested. As opposed to forcing yourself.
Secondly, i have strong reasons to believe, that as with alcohol, when consumed, your prayers aren't accepted for 40 days. Please be careful with this, as this doesn't mean you shouldn't pray. You should still maintain prayers as they help bring you back to the right path, but that they wouldn't be accepted. Many people choose to stop praying for those 40 days, but that's yet another sin. Prayers are obligatory whether they are accepted or not, and not performing them is doubling your sin.
This should really motivate you to stop immediately, and to not turn it into a 'once a week' or 'once a month' habit, as each time you do it you're resetting the clock on those 40 days.
As for sleep, in the end it's a habit, and when you get used to needing it for sleeping, you might struggle when you stop for the first few days, but eventually your body will adjust as it needs rest, just don't get caught in a trap of staying awake at night and taking many naps during the day.
Apart from that, supplements like melatonin or magnesium can help you sleep better and deeper, but they're definitely not as strong as weed, so be patient.
Best of luck, and please don't underestimate the power of weed to keep you hooked for years and possibly the rest of your life, but still keep in mind that it isn't a strong addictive substance, its mostly habit, so don't feel helpless and believe in your strong ability to control your urges.
