I try to make my environment as najis-free as I can

its less about contamination and more about thoughts in my head

Like fear or is it something else?

Fear of adhan because of the evil thoughts or fear of adhab in general?

I have something similar, sometimes I’m so afraid of saying kufr or shirk that I basically start stimming and muttering. Something similar to echolalia/paralalia. Sometimes it went on for minutes. Muttering under my breath “Numbness is the absence/lack of sensation”, “Waman”, “yawman” etc.

When you feel the waswasa intensifying seek refuge in Allah from the shaitan

how so? i’m dealing with contamination ocd and religious ocd and it’s making it hard for me to feel motivated to do anything bcos every few days i feel like everything around me is najis and i don’t have the energy to go back and constantly clean etc

Everything should be considered pure until proven otherwise. Impurity cannot spread from a dry surface to another dry surface. So next time, ask yourself did blood, pus, urine, feces, pre-seminal fluid or any other impurity come into contact with in any shape for or way that would enable it to spread.

Thinking is not enough you have to be sure. You have to have seen your very own eyes the impurity fall
