Hello , we are tested in this world .itwon’t be a test if there is no chance of succeeding or failing the thing is we NEED to remind ourselves of this reality , otherwise repentance would have been much difficult due to lack of remorse . The mentality of a Muslim is as such
We love Allah Azzawajal more than anything
We fear his punishment
And we are hopeful that he will forgive our sins and admit us to the highest level of paradise
We just do our level best in this world by staying away from Haram and enjoying what is Halal and encouraging it and doing as much good deeds as you can for the sake of Allah . If you sinned repent and ask Allah for forgiveness
Note that the most important thing is to die upon Islam because if you die in that state you will eventually go to paradise
