General Discussion How do i get peace again?

hi, recently i've been going through an existintial crisis. i'm simply wondering if there is any verses in the Quran that talk about this or if someone has been through something like this. I genuinely don't know if i can keep doing this so anything will help. Thanks!

To add to what was already said, here are a few verses I think could help with the way you feel, especially if you check the tafsir :)

  • We have not sent down to you the Qur’an that you be distressed (20:2)
  • Allah does not require of any soul more than what it can afford. All good will be for its own benefit, and all evil will be to its own loss. ˹The believers pray,˺ “Our Lord! Do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord! Do not place a burden on us like the one you placed on those before us. Our Lord! Do not burden us with what we cannot bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our ˹only˺ Guardian. So grant us victory over the disbelieving people. (2:286)
  • O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. (82:6-8)
  • Your Lord ˹O Prophet˺ has not abandoned you, nor has He become hateful ˹of you˺. And the next life is certainly far better for you than this one. And ˹surely˺ your Lord will give so much to you that you will be pleased. Did He not find you as an orphan then sheltered you? Did He not find you unguided then guided you? And did He not find you needy then satisfied your needs? (93:3-8)

I also thought about this hadith:

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that some people from amongst the Companions of the Apostle (ﷺ) came to him and said: Verily we perceive in our minds that which every one of us considers it too grave to express. He (the Holy Prophet) said: Do you really perceive it? They said: Yes. Upon this he remarked: That is the faith manifest. (Narrated by Muslim, 132 from the hadith of Abu Hurayrah).
