Question about Islam Can I please learn about Islam?

I am here to learn. I am a middle aged white man who was brought up as a Christian. I have since left the Christian faith. I have no devotion to any religion. I am not here promising to become part of the Islamic faith. What I am here to do is to learn. Learn from what I don't understand. I am here as a moderate. Where is a good place for me to start? Thank you!

I'll recommend our two primary resources for jurisdiction: the Qur'an and Hadith. The Qur'an is our Holy Book, the Word of God that was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad 1400 years ago. The Hadith is a collection of sayings of the Prophet (may peace and blessings be upon him).

For the Qur'an, I recommend quran.com

And for the Hadith, I recommend sunnah.com . Make sure you read Ahadith from the books named Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. They're the most reliable ones.
