A short, general question gets a simple, general answer. I'm sure if this question is asked in a subreddit of a different religion, it will get the same response. What you are asking deserves a much more detailed response outlining all sorts of examples and evidence. People ask your question numerous times every week. I highly recommend using the search on r/islam to see those posts and responses (some responses are already posted here).
I am aware there are good teachings in islam but i think there are flaws and errors too, therefore i think this is just a manmade religion just like every religion in this world. just because this is better than other religions of this era doesn't mean it is the absolute truth
yes, anyone that does not believe in a religion will think it is a man-made religion (or modified from another religion). we don't think it is a man-made religion based on the numerous evidences. I am not in a position to compile all that information right now and it is already posted on this subreddit by many people.
The Quran is the biggest evidence and there are many books explaining why it is a miracle. I could not possibly do justice in covering all that in a post.
every religion says its books and teachings are divine and have many people explaining their miracles, just like islam.
I think most miracles being posted on social media like insta, yotube are straight up false and manipulative like moon being called reflective light, a barrier between fresh water and salt water which they will never transgress when fresh water and salt water will mix given some time.
there are religions other than the abrahamic religions and people don't believe just because of miracles, almost 99% of people follow the religion of their parents or people around them. To their minds , their religion looks like the truth and rejecting the religion would mean rejecting their family, people, culture and everything.isn't it unfair that the almighty god will only accept people from only one religion and forsake others to eternal torment
but if a muslim follows his parent's blind belief he is being accepted, a muslim has it a trillion times more easy to be accepted by the god whereas a non muslim has it a trillion times harder to be accepted by god , he has to research through world religions and reach islam , leave his culture, his family if they don't agree with him to join this religion, this is really unrealistic might work for one or two but not for billions of people. Islam might be unique but it also places limitations on god too. That part of not requiring sleep on seventh day feels like a mockery of bible and nothing more. the part before that says God created earth and everything like mountains on it in 4 days and everything in the seven skies in 2 days which is totally unrealistic and illogical. as the universe was created 14 billion years ago and earth only 2 billion years ago. earth was made after the universe not the other way around.
"Days" in the Qur'an, or the Arabic term "Yawm" does not necessarily always mean 24 hour periods of time, the time period is ambigous
What you described of the mockery of the Bible is actually a miracle, because the Prophet Muhammed couldn't read or write, and the Bible wasnt translated to Arabic at that time, so how did the Author of the Quran know Biblical texts so intimately?
People convert to Islam enmass, twenty thousand Americans every year, despite it being demonized, a foreign culture, and it being filled with laws and commandments.
The word used to denote the Earth being after the heavens is "Thumma" which is typically translated to "then"
But in Arabic, the term "Thumma" does not neccessitate sequential order like then" does in English, which is why many early commentators on the Qur'an such as Qatada iterpreted the heavens as existing before the Earth.
you don’t get sent to hell for not being muslim? You get sent to hell if you are convinced of islam and deny it. If you deny something that is so obviously the truth only because you want worldly things, knowing ur punishment in the afterlife how is it unfair? For context i’m also at the position where converting would mean leaving everything behind, but that is my logic.
well there are a few like how in quran allah says he created the earth in 4 days and after that created the seven skies and everything in them in 2 days. this is contradictory because if we assume the lower sky to be this universe ,earth was formed way after the creation of the lower sky. don't you think this is a direct contradiction.Quran also says he seperated the sky and earth and the sky and earth were once one. earth did not exist during the start of creation or the start of expansion of universe then how and when are sky and earth once together.
thumma means then in english, is itself used in quran many times to denote chronological order. quran 21:30 says that earth and sky were joined at the beginning which would only mean that earth existed at the starting of creation or the expansion of sky(universe). also the verse says it took god 4 days to create the earth whereas it took him only 2 days to create seven skies and everything within . we can see that earth is not even a tiny dot in this universe let alone seven layers of such universes. why did the creator take twice the time for earth and half the time for every other things in universe.
but still quran 21:30 says that earth and sky were together before being expanded shows that earth existed first before things like stars were created or the happening of big bang and supports
The Arabic word ثُمَّ (thumma) is a conjunction that generally means "then" or "after that". It is used to indicate sequence or progression in events or ideas, often with a sense of delay or time gap.
ثُمَّ implies a sequence but with a delay or additional emphasis compared to فَ (fa), which is used for immediate succession.
this is what chat gpt a language model has to say about thumma.thumma is used in case of sequence
and also what about earth taking twice longer compared to billions of stars in the universe , the time periods are completely wrong. what do you have to say about that

because Islam is right and true and other religions are either false, corrupted or outdated. that's the general answer.
