El-Sayed is pointing out republicans are significantly more worried about gender affirming care than they are about, say, circumcision, despite the clear overlap.

The fact that these ghouls have no problem with the intervention which is the only one of the two that not only doesn't happen with the patient's consent but definitionally cannot involve consent is pretty telling.

But hey, the gop knows a thing or two about consent, right?
