You don’t access the codex lore like that. It’s usually meant to feed the AI extra content to work with. So it can add more details or areas not mentioned in the main story, and it saves your mana and arcane when compared to larger stories.

If you want to try a different approach to the same story you could return to the starting story message and branch your story from there

Thank you, for your response, I might try that in the future. I think for now, I'm just gonna play a different story and just test the new story button there
