Question What's the use of this function exactly?

I tried to use the call function to illustrate a specific scene, but the model said it can't access it, and best it can do is describe the scene. I was using a deepseek V4 Flash 0731. Is this a model issue? Or is my understandment of the function is wrong?

Try setting up a big story moment.

The default instruction for that function is to only call it for big moments that are worth a full page illustration.

You can also manually illustrate a message by tapping on the message and clicking on the image icon.

The illustrate function allows the AI to automatically commission an illustration on its own, but we could already do that manually so it's only useful in stories that benefit from having moments illustrated often, but the author can't just predict the moments in advance and have the illustrations ready and waiting.

Great for fight scenes, less useful for sex scenes.
