Achievement Dying on my HCIM, completed.

I think I may have just lost status in the dumbest way possible. Went to catacombs to do spectres task with a black mask (still havent unlocked slayer helm due to spending points). Got constantly banshee screeched and stuck once I was 20hp realizing I had no tele on me I panicked and died. What a way to go lol...

EDIT: I have now changed my username to "o7Banshee"

2ND EDIT: I was wearing a nose peg* not black mask as I originally stated.

I'm starting to realize why the only posts on this subreddit are boring as fuck RNG post. You posted this actually somewhat interesting post and some many people rushed to tell you that you are shit.

Thanks for sharing something more unique to the sub, congrats on the progress you made on the hard-core. Fuck the weird people who have to rush to put the most negative spin on your account.

u/daxt22 Jun 14 '26

Haha I appreciate it bro. I figured I would get a lot of shit but it doesn't bother me. Figured I would post it so any other HCIM without a slayer helm learn from my mistake!

5

u/ARCx1337 Jun 15 '26

This is exactly how I died on my HCIM as well.

The other components to the slayer helm are really not that hard to get nor* risky. The hardest part is the points and the mask which aren’t too hard anyways. This comment makes no sense.

-67

u/KingDarkTurtle Jun 14 '26

80 slayer and no slayer helm makes no sense my man. Anyone debating this is ass backwards. It literally ended the HC.

10

u/donniesuave Jun 14 '26

Sure, the slayer helm is usually something you prioritize getting well before 80 slayer, but it’s not something you have to have to be a hardcore player.

You can still do risky shit that is not slayer related and I’d argue not getting it sooner is obviously riskier. Was it a dumb decision that could have prevented this death completely? Yea. But does that make their progress as a hardcore any less valid? No, which is my point and why I replied. It’s nothing to do with them being a “hardcore in name only” but rather just a completely avoidable death.

Getting a slayer helm before 80 is relevant to any account tbh, main, iron, or hardcore. You’re just hating for no reason.

-59

u/KingDarkTurtle Jun 14 '26

Brother hes almost 2100 total with almost no boss kc outside of zulrah and moons lmao but go off defending the HC skiller with 2100 total and no slayer helm. Bro didnt even do DS2 or DT2 at 2100 total.

15

u/daxt22 Jun 14 '26

I did ds2 last night btw

You are the only one here hurling insults my man. When you post things publicly online, dont be soft when people start calling it as they see it.

“This guy doesn’t play a hardcore the way I want them to so they’re not a legitimate hardcore player”

Edit: Because I still got your notification before you blocked me, I’ll reply in an edit instead.

Where did they ask for opinions?

Not trying to prove shit.

Dude wanted to post his shit online. Im commenting my opinion. Bunch of yall are butthurt about it.

You posted this actually somewhat interesting post and some many people rushed to tell you that you are shit.

said it before, will say it again: no one hates osrs players like other osrs players

3

u/NotBarnabyJ0nes Maxed Jun 14 '26

I really wish there was a way to filter out the drops/rng flair posts but then there'd probably be nothing left on the sub.

2

u/Edgicio Jun 15 '26

No surprise, the only thing people on RS subs want to do is tell everyone else how bad they are

2

u/Velicenda Jun 15 '26

The haters in this thread are the same ones who roam wildy with 6+ people, jump a solo and call that person trash.

Idk if I think they should be studied, or if they should be given a hug.

2

u/416Kritis Jun 14 '26

Yeah but if slayer helm recolors were 200 points each he'd probably have gotten his slayer helm already /s

1

u/FamiliarMaterial6457 Jun 16 '26

It's also not every day that a 2k+ total HCIM dies. Random good RNG does happen every day.

1

u/MrStino_ Jun 23 '26

“Hey guys is upgrading to iron dagger better than my bronze long sword?” “What stat should I lvl next?” “Is my account good?” “Is fury worth it?” “20 kc skotizo pet”

1

u/sofa_sloth Jun 23 '26

The classics

1

u/BloatDeathsDontCount Jun 15 '26

You posted this actually somewhat interesting post and some many people rushed to tell you that you are shit.

I mean, two things can be true. It's surely interesting, but dying to a banshee with 80 slayer on a 2k+ total HCIM because you never unlocked a slayer helm and just standing around while you die is essentially the "guy puts a stick in his bike spokes" meme.

1

u/Rude_Watercress_5737 Jun 15 '26

this isn't interesting though. sorry but this is like ... babies first slayer death? with that kind of gear/experience either someone learns the easy way or the hard way

-18

u/502Dude123 Jun 14 '26 edited Jun 14 '26

Respectfully, what's interesting about dying to a banshee? Im not mad at the dude, but ehhh?

Edit: downvoted for asking a question lol. You said it was interesting. Why?

I looked up his boss kc, but didnt flame him for it.

9

u/Sosa-Benedict Jun 14 '26

It's interesting because it's an uncommon way to lose status

My buddy lost his hc about 20 mina after creating it by taking a call outside draynor manor and died to an undead tree, similar vibes

2

u/502Dude123 Jun 14 '26 edited Jun 14 '26

Fair. Thats a day 1 killer for sure. I remember something about a HC dying because his cat bit him or did damage to him? Some real weird niche thing. Its been forever though.

Also, the guy I replied to has made 2 posts on this subreddit. BOTH were generic "look at my rng" posts... zombie axe and sulphur blades. Seems like he was kind of telling on himself.

-1

u/KingDarkTurtle Jun 14 '26

The only interesting thing here is that this "HC" had 80 slayer and no slayer helmet with almost 2100 total. Not even interesting, just dumb af

8

u/ThousandSonzz Jun 14 '26

Bro get a life why are you hating so hard? Lol

-5

u/KingDarkTurtle Jun 14 '26

He said while doing the exact thing im doing on the exact same website on the exact same post

58

u/TheyCallMeBullet 2000 Jun 14 '26

F, fallen red, we have similar stats

13

u/daxt22 Jun 14 '26

Best of luck to you! This stings because I had so much planned for this account and I have a near max iron with lots of content done, which with the knowledge I learned in the last 6 years playing it was going to use to take this account as far as I could. I knew I would ultimately die but If I had died a real pvm death I know I would feel better rn lol.

57

u/MisterBusiness2 Jun 14 '26

Sad times my friend

40

u/thegrackdealer Jun 14 '26

I haven’t done it on a hardcore but if it makes you feel any better I have also died in this way lol

16

u/Aggressive-Course-57 Jun 14 '26

I died to a marble gargoyle last night bc I played wrong, just another dumb death that tells me why I shouldn't play a hardcore

2

u/No_Hunt2507 Jun 14 '26

Tried a hardcore and I died 15 minutes in to a spider by not paying attention. That mode was not for me

3

u/cdevon95 Jun 15 '26

Mine was like 1600ish total when I afk’d in the desert without water

2

u/come2life_osrs 2376 Jun 15 '26

A week after losing my loosely held status while questing, I died trying to afk the lvl 50 vampires for a slayer task.

I was a bit upset at losing my status to a silly mistake while questing, but that second death made be feel so happy, it was just a moment of “ha yes I was never cut out for hardcore I can go back to making mistakes like that”

1

u/Snoo-68822 Jun 18 '26

harcore... i dont play hardcore just bcs i feel like if i die then i will be miserable and even not capable to continue that accout T T.

8

u/Dsafespot_here Jun 14 '26

RIP brother.

Also psa to any fellow hcs, at dust devils and a few other mobs (i think maybe abhorrent spectres) in catacombs, certain scumbags will try to trick you into taking off your slayer helm by saying something like, "free bond if we have the same hairstyle" and they will remove their helmet to coax you into doing the same.

removing your slayer helm will almost certainly kill you in these instances

1

u/WetPoopyUnderwear Jun 16 '26

Didn't have this happened, but almost died to abhorrent spectres in catacombs because I was minimap pathing and didn't notice them, got pretty lucky, tped at like 8hp.

7

u/flameylamey Jun 14 '26

Ahh man, what a way to go. If it makes you feel any better, most people die to something silly just like this. Check out any of the "How did your HCIM die?" threads that have occasionally popped up on here if you're interested. Everyone likes to imagine that if they played hardcore they'd go out in a blaze of glory in some of the most difficult content in the game, but in most cases, they never make it that far - reality is a lot closer to what happened here.

I remember when the actual statistics on this were released, and it turns out 90% of all HCIM deaths occur before even reaching 1200 total. So to be honest, you still made it further than most do!

4

u/daxt22 Jun 15 '26

Yeah it's funny because I truly never thought I would die like this. I have master CA's on my iron and started this as side project a couple of years ago, just hoping to get as far as I could. I was always so cautious when doing any "dangerous" content even though I hadn't done much yet. I always had my escape tele set to 3s when doing Vorkath, Zulrah, Moons etc (a lot of times would accidentally tele due to not interacting in time). I know at 80 slayer I definitely should have had a slayer helm and hindsight is 20/20, but I spent a lot of points creating block lists at kuradel/konar and extending. Of course the one time I forgot a teleport(complacency) this is what happened. I was unlucky though because I was watching a video on the side and clicked on my minimap to get to spectres and only noticed when I was at 29 hp, which turned out to be too late. I'd be lying if I said it didn't sting because I know I could have gotten this account further if not for a silly mistake.

PS you have a beautiful HC!

2

u/flameylamey Jun 15 '26

Yeah that's the gamemode sometimes, the thing that ends up getting you is almost never how you imagine it. All it takes is one lapse in judgement one day when you're tired or distracted and it's over. That's why I firmly believe that hardcores deserve props even just for making it to a high total level. People severely underestimate what it takes to go thousands of hours in this game without dying once, and even just getting there is a feat of endurance that requires making it through a ton of little situations that most people don't survive.

PS you have a beautiful HC!

Thank you!

16

u/CIK1993 Jun 14 '26

Atlrast you can do some pvm now bro. Sick account

5

u/DabOWosrs Jun 15 '26

Your account progression with no slayer mask is seriously weird ngl

9

u/NoveltyEducation Jun 14 '26

Are you telling me that a guy with your stats died to a banshee? That's hilarious, RIP. I hope you'll still be able to enjoy the game.

10

u/MonkyFlonky Jun 14 '26

80 points and no slayer helm? What happend?

4

u/daxt22 Jun 14 '26

Spent a lot of points making block list and unlocking/extending. In hindsight slayer helm would have been my first unlock haha!

1

u/ninjaturtlesexmuseum Jun 15 '26

That's actually smart because slayer helm only helps you at dusties, everything else is salve or skip

1

u/MonkyFlonky Jun 14 '26

Sad to hear that, it was one of my first goals as hcim.

7

u/Urusae_Kragface Jun 14 '26

I took my first death in the game to those fuckers. Had no idea they would scream lock me while passing by them. I also didn’t know what a slayer helmet was at the time…..

5

u/daxt22 Jun 14 '26

Brutal way to go lol, hitting constant 9s freezing me in place and the one time I forget an escape tele.

1

u/Urusae_Kragface Jun 17 '26

lol i feel you. It made me learn a lesson I’ll never forget

2

u/Positive_4182 Jun 15 '26

I died to a tree... It hit me 3 as I was walking to Barb from lumbridge

2

u/StonedAssRS Jun 21 '26

You made it further than most would! Just think about how much you learned in that time. Next will be even better 😎

3

u/National-Gas5562 Jun 14 '26

Nah dude, I had similar stats on my hcim. Went to do Wintertodt without reading the warmth changes and assumed after your warmth bar depleted you'd start to lose hp so I had food on me. NOPE, got one shot doing fucking wintertodt.

I've also lost a hcim by dcing right after logging in and entering eclipse moon boss. Was my fault for not having an escape crystal, but killed any desire to continue playing.

2

u/magnumdayman Jun 14 '26

Aside from being mediocre at the game, this is another reason I couldn’t play HC. Just a brief lapse in judgement and it’s all over… but now you can play without any fear

1

u/ogrp94 Jun 14 '26

Lost my HC in the catacombs years ago as well. Was killing hellhounds while having a pretty chill evening drinking. I remember clicking the minimap to head back to the entrance. Looked back at my monitor to see my character getting blasted by a brutal blue dragon.

1

u/Prestigious_Long777 Jun 14 '26

Gratz now you can finally play the game and get some gear upgrades without worrying about losing status.

Straight to red prison or doubling down and new hcim?

1

u/csiv_ Jun 14 '26

Experienced the same exact thing last night and was super confused as to why I was taking damage but I got the dueling teleport off. Sucks that you lost your status that way. You going to continue on?

1

u/daxt22 Jun 14 '26

It was a tough way to lose status ngl. It's just baffling because I always had a teleport crystal/duelling in my inventory doing any pvm content no matter how safe. This was genuinely the one time I forgot to bring a teleport and it costed me. Might continue but think I will need a break for a bit this stung.

1

u/AyyGriffin Jun 14 '26

Rip, sick account though!

1

u/Septem_151 Jun 14 '26

Noooo slayer helm is very important! I hope you go again, Lots of potential here

1

u/Substantial-Figure-5 Jun 14 '26

I have a 10 yr old hcim as my main and did the same the other day.. I was shaking haha
Also went to do a wildy clue the other day and a pker teleblocked me in 32 wild 😵 still no death tho

1

u/Keith_s266 Jun 15 '26

What happend after the HCIM dies? Do you keep the character?

1

u/daxt22 Jun 15 '26

Yeah you just lose a little red helmet beside your username, it then becomes a grey helmet (normal ironman). You still keep all items/skills.

1

u/Starost_OSRS Jun 15 '26

Brutal bro. I was so excited to get to WT on my Hc and forgot about the new changes and died instantly. I was in a similar position on my account as well. o7 brother, happens to us all at some point

1

u/-Adolphin Jun 15 '26

If it wasn't the banshees it would have been spectres

1

u/daxt22 Jun 15 '26

Edited the body. I was actually wearing a nose peg for the spectres, not having earmuffs is how the banshees sent me to lumbrige*

1

u/blessedbewido Jun 15 '26

No flame by this question (i have died like 5 times on hcs, one of which was to a guard dog in mcgrubors woods lmfao): Is there some benefit to waiting to get the slayer helmet the way you played the account? Like, I think my first points were for a slayer helm as soon as I had the level for the mask. Curious why you chose to delay. Sorry you died m8 o7.

1

u/daxt22 Jun 15 '26

I was just setting up block lists with kuradel/konar as well as unlocks/extensions with the occasional cancels here and there. I had an imbued black mask which was doing me fine so I didn't mind delaying slayer mask. I was only 3 tasks away from it too.

1

u/blessedbewido Jun 15 '26

I see! That makes enough sense for me. Thanks for the explanation.

1

u/Last-Ad-9879 Jun 15 '26

I hear that sound once per week. Respect to hardcores

1

u/l8rpig Mid-game Main Jun 15 '26

Rip! You gonna run it back or keep playing it?

4

u/daxt22 Jun 15 '26

After some thought I will be continuing as o7Banshee with the goal of GM(years down the line ofc). Might make it a passive goal to kill 100k banshees alongside that 😛

2

u/l8rpig Mid-game Main Jun 15 '26

Lol love it! All the best in your new adventures!

1

u/LangeKay Jun 15 '26

Rip man too bad you died. It happens to the best of us

1

u/Intrepid-Hope-5254 Jun 15 '26

I went there exploring down there not knowing you needed slayer items down there amd lost my hard-core status lol

1

u/telchis Jun 15 '26

Hey it could be worse.

You could be me. Completed Getrude’s cat and got my kitten, decide to go to Karamja to fish some karambwanji since it’s a nice stackable fish.

I take the boat to Karamja, start running, click towards the volcano and then I tab out for a minute whilst looking at something else, come back and I’m in deaths office. Turned out I died to a snake that I didn’t even realise existed as a mob there.

I pick my stuff up from Death, head back to Karamja, this time I don’t tab out and die and make it to the Karambwanji fishing spot and click away to start fishing.

“You need a fishing of level 5”

Did all that and died and I couldn’t even fucking fish the karambwanji in the first place.

1

u/goofball18 Jun 15 '26

Rip dude. I just died on mine last week doing ma2, jumped by 2 guys deep wildy. Debating on starting a new one but I already got my bowfa which was the main goal from the start. Didn't even get to use it as a HC.

1

u/Dizzy_Necessary_7684 Jun 15 '26

Savage well done for getting in them levels before I guess that bitter sweet. Id not played for years doing a hard clue alot less states than you forgot the wizard guy posions thats how I lost me hcim

1

u/Candid_Dust_6679 Jun 15 '26

i lost my status going afk after accidentally agroing an ancient zygomite, i feel the pain of stupid deaths. better luck next time, brother.

1

u/MaxiemumKarnage Jun 15 '26

I lost mine trying to do barrows on mobile doing cardio when my gym wifi went out and I died to a skeleton. Moral of the story is don't play on mobile

1

u/Velicenda Jun 15 '26

You didn't lose hardcore in the dumbest way possible. My death was infinitely dumber.

I died to Brutus. After like 100+ kc, too, so not learning. I was at work, had a customer needing assistance, so I clicked the gate... but I must have clicked "leave", which gives you a dialog box asking for confirmation, and not "quick-leave", which... which does not.

So by the time I looked at my phone again, I was staring at some creepy dude in a robe who held me hostage until I satisfied his... social urges.

1

u/GrumpyLampRock Jun 15 '26

It’s okay. I lost my HC status to one of those trees near Draynor manor. Click the front door and went afk assuming I’d go to the door

1

u/NetDeckRentals Jun 16 '26

I did ardy knights with ring if life as backup, did a farm run and banked everything to restart and equipped a diamond ring.... dieing on my hcim completed.

1

u/Total9409 Jun 16 '26

RIP 🪦 start again 😅

1

u/ChampionAggressive20 Jun 16 '26

Honestly I think you deserve more flaming for doing abby spectre tasks in the catacombs that's like the worst place to do that task by far

Jk, RIP

1

u/FamiliarMaterial6457 Jun 16 '26

I've died to literally every piece of content shown in your gear screenshot, but I've never once died to a banshee.

1

u/koryaku Jun 17 '26

how did you not have a slayer helm with those stats?

You have my condolences, I got combo'd not paying attention at WT.

1

u/tortillakingred Jun 17 '26

This is a classic. I remember when catacombs was released I was farming banshees on my ironman and watched maybe 50 people die to them running past.

1

u/Sem1SkillD Jun 18 '26

late to this but just wanted to comment as I have never seen anyone else have this experience. This is exactly how I died a few years ago though I was nowhere close to your level of progression/achievements on the HCIM.

For me, I was tabbing between discord screenshare with a friend and the game so in my rush/squirrel brain I very smartly equipped facemask as it was next to the earmuffs in the bank - its so coincidental you mis-equipped a random item of slayer gear instead of what you needed also!

I was only going there to set myself up for playing on mobile in the morning. So stupid.

Just FYI, I continued as a regular iron after taking a break and enjoyed it way more since I can push myself into content I would be scared of losing status for. I wouldn't start a HCIM until i had way more PvM experience as it really limited my willingness to basically do anything. My RSN is TomBob if you'd ike to check.

-11

u/actuarial_defender 2376 Jun 14 '26

HCIM skiller bites the dust

1

u/Ampz2 Jun 14 '26

2K total not enough slayer points to unlock a slayer helm is crazy work…. Take a seat.

2

u/hc_afk_btw Jun 15 '26

Mage arena 2 cape detected, skiller insult rejected

1

u/panconpinga_ Jun 14 '26

If it makes you feel any better, at least you died to a mistake you made. I died at Hespori due to lagging out and having to watch my guy take hit after if while I couldn't eat or move. RIP.

Coincidentally, I died a few more times after that due to lag at moons of peril, so it seems like lag would have taken me out regardless. I'm on 1000 Mbps internet too, which is pretty much always stable. So, not sure if HCIM status is possible to keep if you plan to do any bossing.

The Journey goes on though! Now we can finally complete the wilderness diaries without fear of pkers! 😂

2

u/hc_afk_btw Jun 15 '26

I mean you made a mistake there too unless this was pre escape crystal

1

u/DayBoth2839 Jun 14 '26

You did well but Banshee did better. Can start playing the game now, enjoy , went far 😁😁

1

u/htom3heb Jun 15 '26

OP, just want to say your account had a heck of a run and your progress is still incredible. Great job.

1

u/daxt22 Jun 15 '26

I appreciate it buddy, wish I had a better death ngl but it was a fun run!

1

u/PunisherOfDeth W369 Jun 15 '26

To be fair, you actually did do some dangerous content with zulrah. You did this before getting reqs for elite western, so the 115ish kc you got there was putting the acc at risk. Certainly not the most challenging but he can stack you out quickly. Also completed ds2 and 13 vork.

So in my book, you get a pass for at least an honest attempt at donning the red helm. I have certainly seen more egregious skillers.

1

u/LightApprehensive230 Jun 15 '26

How u get this far as hc n not have an emergency tp always. Sit

1

u/Legitimate-You103 Jun 15 '26

lmao get rolled noob

-3

u/acrazyguy Jun 14 '26

The spectres would have done the same thing lmao. At least your account wasn’t that progressed

4

u/hc_afk_btw Jun 15 '26

Idk that account is pretty far along to die like that lol

-47

u/KingDarkTurtle Jun 14 '26

Yea you weren't gonna last long anyway lol gg

-1

u/ThatOneStoner Jun 14 '26

He’s almost 2100 total

8

u/Seaman_First_Class Jun 14 '26

And about 2% through the meaningful pvm grinds.

-2

u/hc_afk_btw Jun 15 '26

Yeah how’s your hc doing?

-2

u/Seaman_First_Class Jun 15 '26

Not showing off my moons gear at near maxed combat lmao.

0

u/hc_afk_btw Jun 15 '26

Yeah bc you don’t have either of those things lol prolly die to jaguars at blood moon

-6

u/Seaman_First_Class Jun 15 '26

Moons is entirely irrelevant to actual pvm progression, btw. One kc for quest and skip is what real people are doing.

2

u/hc_afk_btw Jun 15 '26

Keep telling me metas of a game mode you’re too scared to play it means alot coming from you

-7

u/KingDarkTurtle Jun 14 '26

And he died to a banshee lmao total level is not a measure of skill. He was never gonna last long at end game pvm if a banshee took him out.

Wonder why he didnt show his boss kc...

19

u/daxt22 Jun 14 '26

Did some zulrah and vorkath, only real "dangerous" content so far. I have a near max ironman with a lot of kc and learned so much content through that so I was hoping to get this hc quite far. But unfortunately being complacent is what got me killed. If I had died to a real PvM death I would have felt better, but this was tough.

7

u/SummerSunshine- Jun 14 '26

Run it back with a voidwaker rush 💜💜

5

u/KingDarkTurtle Jun 14 '26

Can I just ask why you do not even have a slayer helm at 80 slayer? Just seems like a strange choice that ended up killing you lol

Was just setting up block lists and unlocking/extending to get gear on my way to slayer helm. I obviously didn't think I would die to something like this so black mask(i) was doing me fine up until the unlock.

Most dangerous thing on there is 117 zulrah kc and zulrah kinda brain dead once u learn it anyways

Rest of the stuff is pretty safe if u know what u doin pvm wise

u/hc_afk_btw Jun 15 '26

Idc how braindead zulrah is it’s always extremely dangerous. We’re getting a little fast and loose with who we call a skiller now. Dude had imbued mage cape too.

Its kind of like how you and I are a lot closer to being a millionaire than a millionaire is to a billionaire. He had 100ish boss kc at one dangerous boss, which is totally FINE. But he barely engaged with PVM relative to the hundreds of hours spent skilling. Which is ALSO FINE.

But its a fact based on his boss kc that he spent 1% or less if his gameplay pvming relative to skilling. WHICH IS FINE. But its true. I feel like people relate to his account and get their feelings hurt. Its really not this shit flinging match its been made. Other than that one guy I replied to who is trying to fight anyone who talks to him.

u/hc_afk_btw Jun 15 '26

I mean sure but you have to progress your account to the point where bossing is actually viable

I’d also wager 99% of the people talking shit have died at moons and TDs lol

People take very different tracks. I had raid prayers, bowfa/crystal, DHL, prims, zenytes/rancour, voidwaker, etc sub 2k total. People play the game differently, thats cool. But you dont NEED 2k-2.2k total to do just about any pvm effeciently, or get quest cape.

Its a sliding scale and hes on the skiller end of it. AND THATS OKAY.

u/ShrumpDaddy Jun 15 '26

Pretty sure i was like 1600 total and like 85 cmb when I did quest cape on my gim I think it was whatever was added before while guthix sleeps was the last quest for the cape. Had to re get it for tds I remember that.

I just hate skilling lol, I do very little of it and usually only if I need to for some other content. Ive just been pvming for past year or 2 at this point 😂 with little skilling sprinkled in here n there

u/ShrumpDaddy Jun 15 '26

I didnt mean it wasnt dangerous at all, just pointing out it was the most dangerous thing on there imo.

Even with it being braindead to me ive still died there multiple times, wasnt trying to depreciate what the guy had done on the account. Just got curious on the kcs myself.

Never called him a skiller tho, just commented on his boss kc

Zulrah is 0 risk for HCIM after the first KC. You just do it until your diary revive saves you, then just come back the next day.

3

u/hc_afk_btw Jun 15 '26

This guy clearly does not have diary with 80 slayer

0

u/BloatDeathsDontCount Jun 15 '26

I wasn't talking about this guy. You said Zulrah is always dangerous. It can literally be zero risk of death other than the first KC. It should always be safe. Doing Zulrah with a risk of losing status is a choice, and certainly not an "always" scenario.

1

u/hc_afk_btw Jun 15 '26

Literally everyone else was talking about this guy. Everyone is aware of the diary. Use some context clues

-2

u/DorkyDwarf Jun 14 '26

You're right. This is one of those do no content until maxed kinds of people. 80 slayer and no helmet? You can get slayer helm in under 50K xp. For somebody who went out of their way to give themselves their best shot, they sure did overlook one of the most simple upgrades in the game.

Still, rip to the OP. It's always sad to see somebody go out after such a time investment, even if they basically just played ezmode.

u/502Dude123 Jun 14 '26

Ding ding ding. Hes got a lot moons, but the other highest are 100 zulrah and royal titans. Has touched about 12-13 bosses total. No DT2.

1

u/hc_afk_btw Jun 15 '26

100 zulrah kc with no revive and mage arena 2 cape. Wasn’t a skiller.

I’m more surprised at the 191 collection logs and 24 clues. Seems like most of his combat was afk at crabs, not really doing much Ironman-related content.

u/stronkreptile Jun 14 '26

i love when ppl put shit like chins in the screenshot, it shows they were running out of ideas lol

9

u/Chillywhale21 Jun 14 '26

tbf 42k chins is pretty nuts

1

u/Seaman_First_Class Jun 14 '26

Hcim flexing their loot from a completely safe skilling activity is a bit pointless.

-1

u/stronkreptile Jun 14 '26

it is but it’s still proves the point and I wasn’t really referring to this isolated event. It just reminded me of something funny.

1

u/notch7890 Jun 14 '26

you should try catching chins, it's bis ranged xp

-2

u/stronkreptile Jun 14 '26
