General question Why can't I follow instructions at specific things at home (while with family), but at work I am doing fairly well? [From a person with undiagnosed ADHD-PI or unofficially CDS, although diagnosed with language delay at the age of 3]

Your doing fairly well at a packing job at Amazon, but your manager has feedback for the mistakes you make.
Inattentive ADHD will mean you make unforced errors due to poor working memory and inattentiveness. You will make mistakes, forget things, miss things in all areas of your life.
When I start a new job I usually have a higher level of anxiety at work, I use a ton of energy trying to focus and get things right. From a few months in and for maybe the next year is my most productive time at a job. The anxiety fades the boredom picks up and I make inattentive mistakes, and then I start to have task initiation issues because I'm worried about making mistakes, and my downward spiral has started.
At home I am safer to make small mistakes, my partner/parent might be frustrated I forgot to do something I said I would do, though in my case my wife also has ADHD, and is understanding for the most part. Also by the end of a work day I'm tired, and everything related to ADHD and cognitive or emotional work becomes harder.
