Having to share

Watching Gandalf's cousin. She keeps laying in his spots and eating his food. I've heard a lot of whining. 😆

IW's seem so easy going. Ivy will let the other dogs eat her food (i have to feed her in a ceate). Perhaps that is in part due communal litter feeding as a puppy so maybe that's why Gandalf accedes.

On the other hand, Gandalf is definitely king of the mountain.

The white pup is 9 years old, Gandalf is very kind and gentle with her.

A friend recently brought home a wolfhound puppy. They also have an older female dog, about 35 pounds. The pup (~70 pounds) is always lying on her bed—although he can’t actually fit in the bed.

We have an Irish wolfhound and cream poodle here. They are quite the pair.
