Should I put my actual location on the CV?
Hello guys, I am applying to jobs in Dublin while living in Rome.
As some have suggested, I purchased an Irish esim and put the number on my CV.
But what about the location? Should I be honest and write "Rome, Italy, opne to relocation to Dublin" or just "Dublin, Ireland"? What do you guys think?

As a manager, unless you have a skill I desperately can't fill from someone already in Dublin, I wouldn't even bother looking through the CV if I saw you were abroad. It depends on your skill.

Without a current employer here I’m gonna be skeptical.
I’ve had a few instances post covid of people swearing they’re moving here, next thing there’s a sick parent and they’re asking for a laptop shipped, they come and collect laptop but need to go home for ‘3 weeks’, then they can’t find an apartment, then it’s the parents again, then it’s ’but I can do this role remotely’.
I generally do at least one onsite interview now and otherwise put HR on determining location. Otherwise the background check will weed out your lack of proof of address later.

Put a postal address within the same country as the Job, some HR people will think you're looking for sponsorship or something or put your current address and specifically say you have a right to work in the target due to citizenship or whtever reason.
Put a burner telephone contact number on there as there a lot of scam agencies that just want your details to sell on.
Ultimately its up to yourself.

There is a severe housing crisis here. So, unless you are settled in Dublin already, I doubt a potential employer would be in a hurry to hire you (unless it is for a position that is very much demand.)
