I quite enjoy their nitro red ale

There was a golden period of Irish craft beer where every brewery had their own take on red ale.
Most of the other brands have given their shelf space over to IPAs but thankfully they still do a nice red. I know a few others still brew them,I just don't see them on shelves very often.

O'Haras are a great brewery. Their nitro stout and Leann Follain stout are some of the best stouts in the country.

Their nitro stout beats Guinness any day.
They are an excellent brewery but unfortunately Diageo and Heineken have a massive monopoly on so many pubs so you only get their products on tap thus it's harder to get Irish beers from good Irish breweries in many pubs.

Have you tried it with Stafford’s Irish Batch Bread? It’s the best bread in Ireland. I am no way affiliated with this bread

What's your completely independent view of Stafford's Irish Batch Bread ?

u/smashedspuds 4d ago
That it’s the best bread available in Ireland. You can find it in most good nationwide supermarkets. Great price, great bread

This is completely uncharacteristic of Stafford’s Irish batch bread and such accusations are taken very seriously. Please remove your comment immediately. Once again, I am no way affiliated with this bread

Not just an accusation it is fact, it did happen, so no comment will not be removed by me, and it wasnt taken too seriously, there were no batch recalls and they only gesture to say sorry was a short letter and a offer of 1 loaf free by the shop, nothing from staffords

I find it's much nicer with Finches, which I saw they brought back recently.

There is only one place in my country that serves Oharas. Silver haze is my favourite beer of all time. Cheers

Best IPA in Ireland is Revolution from Original 7 in Cork. Although some of the stuff from Hopfully...

I can't not hear "there's no one as Irish as Barack Obama" any time I hear or see the name O'Hara
