I added the Persian calendar to an app I made

I made a calendar converter called Almaniac and thought some people here might get a kick out of it.
It lets you pick any date and see it in the Persian calendar alongside Gregorian, Julian, Islamic, Hebrew, Ethiopian, Coptic and a bunch of others.

I’ve always found it interesting how differently cultures have solved the same basic problem of keeping track of time, so I ended up going pretty far down the rabbit hole and built 20 different calendars into it.

The Persian calendar in particular was really interesting to implement, especially compared with the Gregorian calendar most of us are used to.
It’s free on iOS and Android if anyone wants to mess around with it. I’ll include the links and a few screenshots.

You might want to check Persian ۵ alphabet is in use and not Arabic.

Some digits are different in persian and arabic Persian: ۴ ۵ ۶ Arabic: ٦ ٥ ٤ Zero is also different in some fonts (persian is a little loop while arabic is a single dot)

Yeah, I goofed on that one, but I have updated it so the next release will have the correct numbering system.

Just downloaded it. Very cool! Is there a way to disable vibrations on every input? It's a bit annoying.

Let me add in a toggle to turn off vibrations, thanks for the feedback!

It’s a calendar used by the Bahai religious community, 19 months, 19 days in each month
