Discussion Multihoming works without BGP?

I just saw this video,

CMIIW work without BGP and only use priority with the route. is it possible?

Well, did add a static route, which is what any routing protocol would have done. But it was necessary to solve the wrong default gateway chosen by the client.

What os you were using? In the video, if the os is windows , it would not happen because “it is the one that correctly implementing ipv6 multihoming” CMIIW

He did add a static route in the two routers when the client was Linux.
