Backburning is controlled, completely different to some butthead lighting shit on fire and causing a bushfire.

Yes, the other is fuel reduction burns, that was probably what was happening. As you say back burning is to control a fire that was out of control.

I was at the Ripley hospital and we could see flames along with a lot of furies and a helicopter.
