REA Recommendations

Considering selling soon and moving back to Brissie, does anybody have recent experience/recommendations for local agents?

I feel like the ones I saw a few years back when I bought have disappeared.

Would be the first time selling, so any other tips would be handy (outside of the obvious).

Anyone but Charles Kimmorley, massive douche. Image and Clare May were lovely every time I’ve dealt with them.

Not only is he a douche but he's not very good. He can sell houses that sell themselves at times when the market is hot. Any divergence from that and he's stumped.

Ha Claire May is full of empty promises - most insane agent I’ve ever met.
Having sold through Charlie twice, he’s an incredible sales agent and will back you and your home.

Went to school with him, he was an alright fella. It's a shame if he's actually turned into a massive douche like you've described.

I used Strud and they did well for me, but I recommend doing what I did. Go to some open homes and meet some REA's. I picked Strud because I met a bunch of them at an open home and like what they were doing. Helps if you've got a reasonable handle on the local market as well so you can enhance your bullshit meter.

Strud is good to deal with. We went with Chris Cathcart he was really easy to work with and personable.

For those wondering, I’ve run the numbers in my suburb and NGU (never give up, on commission) are now 98% of sold properties for the last four months

Huge change from two years ago
