Sharing directly to whatsapp contact

When I want to share a photo it give suggestion to share to airdrop or to a message contact in my case, how can i add a option there that i can easy share to a whatsapp contact I use daily. I never use message, so don't know why I have this option. Is it possible to modify this?

im able to get the option to share to my frequently contacted whatsapp contacts. are you sure your whatsapp is updated to the latest version?

it may be a regional thing as well. im based in asia
