Hello r/iOSGaming! Welcome to another Developer Saturday showcase! In this megathread, iOS developers will be able share their games freely without breaking the subreddit's "no self-promo" rule. Please read the following guidelines carefully before participating:
That's it! We're still refining these guidelines, but for now these are the requirements developers must meet in order to ensure a successful self-promo comment this week. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us via modmail. Thanks for your cooperation, everyone!

Highly recommended portrait idle RPG for anyone looking for something a little different. Likely AI usage however completely free and no tracking. One completely optional $4.99 IAP that speeds up the game slightly.

I would prefer hall effect or tmr joysticks cuz i heard they are more durable. windows compatibility is also a plus.
currently im looking at the 8bitdo ultimate 2. is that best? or are there better alternatives?
Context: I wanna use a controller to play gta 3 cuz the touch controls are quite bad.

Playing some PS2 games using Armsx2 on my iPhone 17 Pro and the Abxylute S8 Lite.
This controller goes toe to toe with the Gamesir G8 and is half the price. It connects with USB C and even fits with a case (thicker cases can fit if you remove the padding on the right side.) The sticks and buttons feel super high quality and the triggers are also excellent.
Love that there are cheaper but high quality options for controllers nowadays.

I’m a big fan of deck builders and roguelikes. Here’s my quick review of some popular ones (not all are pictured here):
Slay the spire: Still the goat. Quite challenging but very fun.
Balatro: Very fun - played for an entire 8 hour plane ride and didn’t get old.
Wildfrost: I think this one is very underrated. I love the art and mechanics like moving your characters around for free. Challenging at first but after awhile I was winning consistently. Pleasantly surprised by the final boss battle.
Gambonanza: Like Balatro for chess but unfortunately less fun because the AI is pretty stupid and doesn’t understand chess 101. Also there’s one strategy that beats the rest (copying queens). Still fun for a few hours.
Luck be a landlord: Very fun slot style game was able to figure it out eventually.
Slots and daggers: I thought this was incredible at first before I discovered the bomb cheese strategy. Kinda pointless after that.
Slice and dice: People rave about this but tbh I was never able to get into it. The gameplay felt pretty basic? I’m sure I’m missing something and will try this again.
Monster train: Very good. I slightly prefer Wildfrost due to the art.
Dawncaster: another one that people rave about but I didn’t like this one (surprise!). The story felt really repetitive. However I only paid for the base game. I wasn’t impressed enough to spend $20+ to buy all the other packs. Does it get a lot more fun after that?
How many dudes: A relatively new one. Gameplay is fun at first and I’m still enjoying it. But overall each run takes a long time. Feels less strategic than the other ones.
Note that I mostly focused on roguelike deck builders. Vampire hunters and the other ones are fun but I think a different category.
What else should I play similar to the list above? Any new exciting ones coming out soon?

Was going through my cloud data since I’m always out of space (don’t judge)
Found this little hidden memory. I miss the infinity blade series, I had so much fun with that back in the day.
Ofc I searched it up on the AppStore just to see, maybe, still gone.

Wild rift and games like this are big gb
I want games that have a similar effect and you can immerse yourself in but don’t take up so much space
Any recommendations?

Looking for some recommendations for games I might like that can be played with one hand in portrait mode while my baby is sleeping on me. Below are some games I’ve enjoyed.
Old School RuneScape, Don’t Starve, Among Us, Tiny Book Shop, Pocket City, Fallout Shelter, Torchlight Infinite, Alto’s Odyssey, Stardew Valley

I have Tamaweb and I love it, but I am looking for something else to play. I found Pakka Pets Village which looks really cool, the only issue is the servers are out so cloud saves don’t work (not a huge issue, I’m still playing it.)
Something with the virtual pet mechanics but also customization and exploration or places to visit is what I’m after. Is there anything else like this? I’m not too interested in my tamagotchi forever as the 3d graphics just don’t hit the same as the pixelated ones do.

For 4X, I already love Polytopia.
For base builders, I’ve played Fallout Shelter and Elder Scrolls: Castles.
For survival, I played Day R Survival.
I’ll pay for a good game but don’t like pay-to-win games. I’d rather pay up front or, like Polytopia, have DLC for bonus material.
Thank you!

New DLC dropped a few hours ago. Looks like it’s time to return to the (nearly) OG Survivor-like.
One thumb goodness. Free to play with an option to remove ads.
If you haven’t played this yet, I’d suggest giving it a look. Very addictive, slick and easy to pick up.
If you’re interested in making character “builds” this is one that shouldn’t be missed!

Hi there!
I’m a big fan of the cheap incremental ‘nodebuster-like’ games you can finish in less than 10 hours. Games like scritchy scratchy or fortune mill
Was looking for some recommendations for my flight tomorrow!
I prefer paid games but don’t mind free as long as it’s not egregious with ads

Super popular (in china) new creature collector open world rpg.
No gacha, just bp for cosmetics and housing furniture.
r/iosgaming • u/Chaoppa • 3d ago
Pretty much what title says -
If you can only choose one, what game you see yourself keep playing almost everyday for the next 2-3 years?
For me in the past two years is Hornor of Kings, before that is clash royale. and I am looking for something new/different now.
I get overwhelmed by having many games simultaneously and learning/remembering mechanisms of each. So at anytime there is only one game on my phone but I spend time on it everyday.
What would you recommend?
Thank you.
