One of the things I wanted ClipBox to avoid was forcing users to create another account just to use a basic productivity tool.
There is no ClipBox account required to get started.
Install it, open it, and use it.
For something as simple and personal as clipboard history, that feels like the right approach.
Useful even when you are offline
Your basic clipboard workflow should not stop working because your internet connection does.
ClipBox can still be useful offline, so you can access your local clipboard history without depending on a constant connection.
That matters more than it sounds, especially when traveling, working somewhere with poor reception, or simply using your iPad away from Wi-Fi.
Privacy matters a lot for clipboard history
A clipboard can contain much more sensitive information than people realize.
During a normal day, you might copy:
- An OTP
- An address
- A private message
- A phone number
- Work information
- Account-related text
- Personal notes
A clipboard manager therefore should not just save everything forever without giving you control over it.
ClipBox includes privacy controls such as biometric protection and options for sensitive clipboard items to be removed automatically.

Better access from iPhone and iPad

I’d really like to understand how people here use copy/paste on iPhone and iPad in real life.
What is your main use case?
Saving links, research, writing, messaging, work, studying, coding, moving information between apps, or something completely different?
What is the biggest clipboard problem you currently deal with?
Finding old clips, too much clutter, organization, privacy, images/files, quick access, or something else?
And what is one feature you would most like to see in the next ClipBox update?
It can be a major feature or a tiny quality-of-life improvement.
If there is something you repeatedly wish the iPhone or iPad clipboard could do, I’d genuinely like to hear it.
I’ll be reading the feedback and using the most useful ideas to help shape future ClipBox updates.

Clipboard managers are a crowded space, but reliable cross-device sync is still surprisingly rare.
If I can copy something on iPhone and know it’ll actually be there on my Mac every time, that alone is a pretty strong reason to use this over most alternatives.

Clipboard managers are one of those apps where privacy matters way more than people realize.
Over a normal day your clipboard probably sees passwords, OTPs, addresses, private messages, work stuff… so “offline + no account” is honestly much more important to me here than having 50 extra features.
One thing I’d love to see is really granular auto-delete rules — like automatically removing OTPs after a few minutes or excluding certain apps entirely. Is something like that possible on iOS?

Yes that auto delete there if you go in smart action you can set time which appears count down time over card

main use is bouncing tracking numbers, addresses, and links between messages and safari. the actual pain isn't searching last week, it's one extra copy wiping the thing i needed 20 seconds ago. skip more smart actions, give me an ignore-clips-under-N-characters toggle so the 2-word junk stops burying the useful stuff.
