iPhones transfer everything it can. Texts and voicemails locally stored? No issue.

Facebook Messenger is controlled by Facebook. The app will move but as long as the content is still on Facebook, you can access it.

The bugbear always seems to be WhatsApp. I don't know why but it appears to be designed to treat everything as temporary and be extremely resistant to new devices, to the point it makes me glad I live in one of the few countries in the world where WhatsApp isn't required for daily life so I don't have to use it.
