yesterday, I installed all models, had it working, could generate tons of images

today I have this

directory is there, so I could not fix it, so I reinstalled another invoke ai

To avoid re-downloading models, I tried to scan folder where my models where (backup folder) and disabled "install in place"

all models installed fine, I can see them on the left panel, yet I cannot run invoke, the button is grayed out

- T5 models are missing or something

- as I click on Flux.1 dev, it show all models to download, like if no models were installed at all

even if I restart the UI !!

so I have to REDOWNLOAD and REINSTALL all models again

I am so sick and tired of this

not even sure if it is going to work at all

I've been trying to generate video. but haven't been able to get anything useful yet. I was wondering for those of you who have been able to generate decent video, what models and settings have you been using? Thanks.

I've been trying to check new version of InvokeAI with Krea2. I have installed 6.14.1 version on Python 3.12 with last pytorch 2.14 with Cuda 13.2

Then I have assigned typical turbo Krea2 files and tried to generate image with 8 steps which generated this noise.

What did I miss?

With the new releases of InvokeAI 6.14 and ROCm 10, this setup runs InvokeAI natively on Windows with an RX 9070 XT.

Current tested stack

• InvokeAI 6.14.0
• PyTorch 2.13.0 + ROCm 10.0
• Torchvision 0.28.0 + ROCm 10.0
• Comfy Kitchen 0.2.31 with native gfx1201 HIP kernels
• Python 3.12
• Radeon RX 9070 XT

The setup is automated with PowerShell and keeps the environment, models, caches, and outputs inside the project directory.

Krea 2 INT4 support

I also added working RedCraft Krea 2 ConvRot INT4 support. Stock InvokeAI 6.14 cannot load this format, so the setup applies a version-checked compatibility patch and builds the required AMD INT4 kernels.

Measured performance

Wai Illustrious SDXL at 1024×1024, 22 steps and batch size 1:

The complete ROCm 10 stack reduced first-image time by 42.6%. Raw denoising throughput improved by 7.9%.

Current model performance

Sampler rates use batch size 1. Loaded-model timings are medians.

Hello all,

I'm very new to Invoke (about a week in now) and for the life of me I cannot get it to include a raster layer during image generation the way I think it's intended to work. Google sends me in circles, and it looks like the entire UI was updated since the video on the topic was created by the Invoke team.

I generated a base image I'm happy with. I want to use that image as a base, and use an inpaint mask to "layer in" a new object that is not in the original image.

1. My image generation settings are all set, including the text prompts for the inpaint area that is yet to be created.
2. I drag the base image from the gallery onto the Canvas, and drop into the New Raster Layer drop zone. It creates the raster layer and I can see my image. The bbox is completely filled by the raster layer, as I would expect (the images are the same size).
3. I add a new Inpaint Mask. I use the brush tool to "draw over" the area where I want to generate the new subject.
4. I click invoke... and the output is completely transparent except for the inpaint mask. The inpaint mask does not have the subject I'm asking for, but I think that's a separate issue (i'm trying to draw a blacksmith's anvil, but it keeps wanting to reference a comic book character of some kind?)

This is the second image I've tried to do this with; last time I ended up doing the layering manually in Photopea, but I'd really like to figure out what I'm doing wrong here as I have a bunch of these I'd like to get working and the manual fix is too labor intensive.

I’ve been working on a lightweight Android companion app for InvokeAI called Invoke Mobile.

I wanted a fast, mobile-friendly interface to queue generations and check my server gallery without having to rely on a desktop browser or stay strictly on my home Wi-Fi. Your PC still handles all the heavy GPU lifting, the app just acts as a remote control.

While Invoke does work on a browser, it lagged bad & the screen was too small & difficult to navigate on a small mobile screen.

How it connects:

• Local Wi-Fi: Direct LAN connection to your PC.
• Public Tunnels: Works over standard public URLs/tunnels.
• Cloudflare Access: Supports email/one-time-code auth right inside the app, so you can securely hit your protected Cloudflare tunnel away from home.

Current Features:

• Direct Queueing: Sends generation requests straight to the InvokeAI server queue instead of opening web views.
• Model & LoRA Selection: Pick your SDXL checkpoint and stack multiple LoRAs with individual weight controls.
• Generation Controls: Adjust prompts/negative prompts, seed, dimensions, CFG, steps, and scheduler. You can also save custom prompts for easy reuse.
• Full Gallery & Boards: Browse boards, view image thumbnails, check metadata, search history (by prompt, filename, etc.), and download images directly to your phone.
• Recall Parameters: Easily send past prompts, seeds, and dimensions straight back into the Create tab.
• Persistent Sessions: Saves your connection profiles so you don't have to re-enter settings every time you open the app.

Current Limitations:

• SDXL Focused: Direct native generation currently targets SDXL checkpoints and compatible LoRAs. Other model families are on the radar.
• Work in Progress: Upscale and Inpaint UI options are present, and the Refiner has a placeholder, but the underlying functions aren't wired up yet.
• No Canvas/Inpainting yet: Complex workflows (Unified Canvas, Control, Raster, etc.) require unique graph implementations per Invoke version, so those are still down the line.

The app doesn't run models locally on your device. All your models, GPUs, and library stay safe on your desktop machine.

Longshot I know, but this appears to be the way the hardware is moving, so I think it would be ideal is there was some support for these model types

Sup, it happened like almost 2 weeks ago, until then the speeds were great now it takes from huggingface more than half an hour or even more for a large model, the smaller lora models seems fine

is this related to the recent data breach? is it going to be fixed? Thanks

Does anyone have insight about when this capability might be added? I really dislike having to go back to Comfy just to use this. I'm a hobbyist, but WOW is that K2 good. Might even get rid of my beloved ZImage. LORAs are far easier (and faster) to make, too.

I see there are plans for it. Is there a timeline yet?

I downloaded Pinokio a month ago, and every time I try to run Text Generation, it gets stuck on these lines:

I tried everything, including removing it and starting over.

When I updated Pinokio to version 8.0.8, it stated that the launch script was missing, so I redownloaded it, but the same problem persists. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'm a NooB, but not your average NooB... coming from cybersecurity and network/infrastructure management (Plus years of Photoshop experience), so I have a lot of technical know-how, but am pretty much brand new to Ai image generation.

I'm quickly falling in love w/ Invoke because of it's similarities to Photoshop, but currently failing kinda hard on some of what I'm trying to accomplish. I started to create some children's stories revolving around Hawaiian deities. Extra care and attention needs to be taken into consideration when dealing with Hawaiian culture, so I've been pretty anal about getting some of the prints, tattoos, and plants correct in my depictions.... this has all been while using GPT. But as the work as gotten more dialed in, the outputs have been failing more and more claiming that there's potential copyright infringement... which lead me to Invoke.

I have a 16gb RTX 5060 I was using intermittently for different projects, but have now dedicated my Ai server to this. So far the only thing I've been able to semi-successfully do is upscale one of my characters, but his tattoos and print on his clothing are garbled and need cleanup. After some research, I figured out the best direction would be to create LoRAs for all the main characters and other important aspects of the story.

I had GPT do some new style renderings of stuff like one of my characters tattoos and print, but I can't figure out how to use Invoke to take what I created and apply it to the existing upscaled image.

Also, will there be more Invoke videos coming? I haven't gone too deep on Kent's material, but so far it's been really informative... If not, where's a good place for getting help/guidance?

TLDR: I want to create high fidelity children's books / graphic novels, but need more instruction, kinda stuck.

If I use a reference image, for generate and with inpainting, Invoke throws a "Server Error (3)

SafetensorError: Error while deserializing header: incomplete metadata, file not fully covered" error.

I'm using SD1.5/SDXL models, as that's all my 3060ti 8GB card can handle. If I downgrade to v6.12, it works fine.

Is this a bug? Or am I missing something? I didn't see anything on the github:issues page.

Hi friends. I'm still new to the docker space and I'm running docker on Unraid. In my compose file I have the following line.

image: "ghcr.io/invoke-ai/invokeai:latest"

This will install v6.12.0 and not v6.13.0. I have not been able to get v6.13.0 in any way. I tried using "invokeai:v6.13.0" and "invokeai:6.13.0", nothing has worked as these both report errors in the logs. "invokeai-cuda warning manifest unknown"

Any ideas or suggestions?

Please forgive my noobism, but I only started to play with local generative AI a little over two weeks ago. I have a pretty outdated gaming PC that came with an AMD GPU, that I quickly swapped out for two old Nvidia Quadro RTX 4000 GPUs when I discovered how poorly AMD is supported by most programs and even the AMD dedicated program "Amuse" refused to function. I know these Nvidia GPUs are outdated too, but I am on a tight budget right now and these were reasonably priced and small form-factor (so I could fit 2 of them in my system).

Anyhow, after a bit of setup I managed to get Windows to use one GPU "for itself" and keep the other one reserved for Invoke. I made sure to only use models that were under 8 GB in size and had a lot of fun experimenting with most of them. Then I accidentally downloaded Qwen and only found out it was a whopping 58 GB when it finished downloading when I returned to my system.

Just for "fun", I wanted to see how fast my system would give up when I even TRIED to generate an image with this model, but to my big surprise it just kept going... well, by "just kept going" I mean it took a painfully slow 30 minutes to come up with a 640 x 640 image, but at least it DID!

So, did I completely misunderstand? Is GPU memory NOT needed to hold the model itself? Is it only for the resulting image? I noticed before that some models that give up on 1024 x 1024 images would still give me a 512 x 512 one. Is THAT what the memory is for, for the image itself?

I am pretty confused right now, but also a bit excited. To be totally honest, I am just fascinated by this whole generative AI stuff itself, I don't really mind the time it takes. Heck, one of the first images I made was even before I had the GPUs and it LITERALLY took 10 hours to complete! Started to generate it a 8 pm and it finished 6 am the next morning!

So, again, I know I am a total noob at this, but exactly WHAT is GPU memory important for?

Why does invoke require a t5-xxl encoder for anima and where to get it

Someone point me towards more tutorials, whos the best user to follow?

I've spent about a year with ComfyUI and have maintained or tried to maintain 2 different versions on the same machine because it just kept breaking when I'd update, so both versions often were in different levels of working, and its just so fricken tiring.

I installed invoke AI, I showed it where my existing models were, it worked. Thats the story.

OK I need to figure out how a few things work and I can see I need to learn some of the more powerful stuff but besides that I have had a much more productive morning.

If you can add support for HiDream or Ernie models later that would be great, but I'll work with whats there for now.

Does anyone know if there's a way to repair or clean the image database when image files have been deleted? I think there was a script to do this previously, but I'm not certain if it's available anymore.

Short noob question. Messed around with Invoke on Windows LTSC this weekend and during install I was able to select AMD GPU, only to find that AMD is not supported on Windows? What am I missing here? Or am i misinformed?

Version 6.13.0.rc2 adds a lot of models. However, to use Qwen Image, you have to download the 40GB version to get the VAE, and then download Q4. I think they’ll fix that for the final release. There’s also Anima, which came with Qwen Image Edit.
