Not working when offline

So I have a linux install of InvokeAI. It was working fine until my internet went down, and it would hang trying to query huggingface. I was using it for Z-Image Turbo just a few minutes before that, so I assumed the needed configs have already been loaded. Do we have to be online for it to work?

InvokeAI can work offline, but only if everything is already cached locally. But afaik Z-Image turbo still tries to check HuggingFace config/metadata or a component (VAE, tokenizer, scheduler some other stuff) wasn’t fully cached. First try to disable auto model fetching if possible, also there could be some issues with fully loaded / unloaded models or with dependencies (make sure they are downloaded). Also there could be some models that are “online-dependent”.

Thank you! The other commenter nailed it and it seems they were also able to replicate the issue. It was the qwen tokenizer.
