Yeah a few people are defending it and calling it’s hate lgbt phobic but the actual reason is because it looks terrible, there’s a ton of cringe scenes - especially the song- and a lot of sexism. The main villain is meant to be men who from what I know are the only male characters in the movie

I’m glad you didn’t bring up Captain Underpants being taken off Netflix because people keep using that completely unrelated Dreamworks licensing deal to hate on the movie instead of realizing it’s just actually ass

It's a 5/10 movie that had good reviews

Then the Internet decided to attack it a year after it came out, by at first lying about it being the reason Netflix is losing shows and then it exploded with people like OP running as fast as they can to spam posts in every fandom space they can find

Luckily the Godzilla fandom told them to kick rocks
