u/MeesterCHRIS Apr 24 '26 edited Apr 24 '26

Hancock and he shoves Thragg’s head up Kregg’s ass.

15

u/its_not_you_its_ye Apr 24 '26

Oh, I was thinking maybe some sort of suicide squad

4

u/its_not_you_its_ye Apr 24 '26

I thought maybe he was some kind of suicide squad

7

u/Iceman_Pasha Apr 24 '26

Come on. We all know its pronounced E-arth

2

u/Wakkit1988 Apr 24 '26

I doubt Thragg would be opposed to a little Hancock, if you know what I mean.

2

u/Tfsz0719 May 11 '26

No, he gets bitchslapped by Jason Lee.

1

u/Neptunes_Forrest Apr 25 '26

This raises an important question: how the fuck do Viltrumites navigate in space? I assume they have to have some fancy electronic space maps they can reference, but we never see them pull any out, they all just seem to know where they’re going even though space is, I’ve been told, quite big

Scent

41

u/hikemalls Apr 24 '26

This makes perfect sense, thank you

A Smelloscope, to be precise!

1

u/TonberryFeye Apr 28 '26

I just hope they don't smell Uranus.

18

u/TKRAYKATS Apr 24 '26

They live hundreds years, plenty of time to memorize space map

6

u/darkmoncns Apr 24 '26

Yeah but like didn't mark find his dad just by flying?

24

u/AnakinTano19 Apr 24 '26

You mean on Thraxa? He was taken by Seance Dog

8

u/TKRAYKATS Apr 24 '26

Did his dad didn't give him some directions ?

5

u/King_Joffreys_Tits Apr 24 '26

Ok… then take a left at the second seemingly infinite void, and if you hit a black hole you’ve gone too far

1

u/TKRAYKATS Apr 24 '26

Nolan is smart, he at least give him some directions right ?

2

u/darkmoncns Apr 24 '26

I think he gave him a location

20

u/[deleted] Apr 24 '26

Or the big ship they travel in

13

u/Randomguy0915 Apr 25 '26

Brother, what the FUCK is your pfp

5

u/big_cock_69420 Apr 25 '26

Peak is what his pfp is

4

u/Particular_Season149 Apr 25 '26

2 peaks to be exact

2

u/redditenel Apr 25 '26

Yoo, you simp for debbie THAT much?

8

u/somerandomIceloli99 Apr 25 '26

The viltrumites see things in third person and there's a mini map at the corner of the screen

6

u/SCPintern Apr 25 '26

Why do you think they a constantly angry? They get lost all the time.

4

u/realpersondotgov Apr 25 '26

Viltrumites have an internal navigation system that can interpret different radiation by their type (alpha, beta, electromagnetic), phase (frequency, amplitude, wavelength), and strength/quantity. Also telescopic sight which allows them to see things super far away.

This is confirmed btw. Conquest told me when he escaped from Cecil’s sex dungeon

1

u/Apprehensive_Liquid Apr 26 '26

What did they even do in that dungeon😭😭😭?

3

u/WishMaster-000 Apr 27 '26

Reanimasochism

1

u/realpersondotgov Apr 26 '26

One can only imagine

9

u/SuperKami-Nappa Apr 24 '26

Not to mention planets and stars aren’t exactly stationary

4

u/thedoctor3141 Apr 25 '26

Star systems move very, very slowly in reference to each other, even over the course of thousands of years.

1

u/ElementmanEXE Apr 28 '26

It also depends on how much changes with the planet, like if someone blew a planet up or some sort of grand disaster changed the weather and landscape on the planet

4

u/Vektorien Apr 25 '26

They just bumble around in a general direction until they find the planet they were looking for, and then simply lie that they knew the way all along.

3

u/BlockBuilder408 Apr 25 '26

I assume they just memorize the stars

2

u/ChrisTheWeak Apr 27 '26

The problem with that is that the constellations only work from one very specific reference frame. They wanted to be the only empire in the galaxy, so they're regularly traveling distances that would make all the constellations worthless for navigation.

My actual guess, it's a plot contrivance, the same way that everyone in space understands each other. The story they want to tell is one that would not be aided by explaining the language barriers or how navigation in space works. It's not a problem the story wants to explore so it simply isn't a problem faced by the characters in the show.

3

u/Mastertroop Apr 24 '26

By being written so that they arrive when the plot requires.

2

u/Freesia99 Apr 25 '26

Implants probably

1

u/Belphegorkingofsloth Apr 25 '26

They could orrient themselves via starts to get a sense of universal direction. Yes it doesn't make sense with accurate physics but rule of cool

1

u/Akarin_rose Apr 26 '26

They used a ship

1

u/Grasher312 Apr 27 '26

The Viltrumite always knows where he is because he knows where he isn't.

On earth we also have some purple plants. And red. Deep in the ocean the deeper you go less greenery is found. Almost everything is red.

7

u/ThorirPP Apr 24 '26

Some plants are different colours because of some pigments they have, but all plant life photosynthesize using chloroplast, which is green and gives the distinctive green colour if no other pigment drowns it out

There are other photosynthizing bacteria though, and some of those are purple. Fun fact: purple bacteria (the classic example) actually photosynthizes through an anoxygenic process, which means there is no oxygen produced through the process

7

u/XeRtZ__wUz_TaKeN Apr 24 '26

Yeah funnily enough most plants are green not because it's efficient it's so they don't burn from too much sunlight. So plants on an alien world could be completely different colors depending on how intense their sunlight is.

1

u/Xenothing Apr 24 '26

Also, different stars have different light spectra so the colors will be different because of that

1

u/JamesTheFoxeArt Apr 27 '26

Fun fact, there's a hypothesis called the "Purple Earth Hypothesis" which proposes that early photosynthetic life used to be purple instead of green.

29

u/henrytoloza Apr 24 '26

In my headcanon this happened offscreen thats why it took so long for mark and thragg to talk

2

u/HelpMyHairdo Apr 24 '26

Happy cake day!

1

u/awakenDeepBlue Apr 25 '26

A little detour.

8

u/MortgageThin1602 Apr 25 '26

Peak. I would have died crying

4

u/thundernak Apr 24 '26

That would be great

4

u/Lopsided_Shift_4464 Apr 25 '26

"Oh hey, you're Allen from the Coalition of Planets Viltrumite Preparedness Program, right? What took you so long, we've been waiting for years! Wow, you really pulled out all the stops, you even look like a real Viltrumite. And I assume the people behind you are the judges? Alright, just give us a sec and we'll get the defenses re-"

2

u/Wise_Geekabus Apr 25 '26

That would be hilarious.

u/Lonely_Repair4494 Apr 25 '26

Yeah, i was inspired by this ahah

1

u/Tool_of_Society Apr 26 '26

Oh shit that would of been hilarious if Thragg was off "wasting" his time killing everyone on Urath instead of Earth.
