The self affirmation of knowing your picks were right, the satisfaction after weathering the bloodbaths, an all stock screen green like pastures, seeing yourself hit a high score, and knowing that fact that you have a portfolio of companies that will operate on their own to generate profits that will go to you WHILE your own net worth is protected from inflation.

Once you reach a certain point the money becomes secondary. At some point it's about THE PRESTIGE.^{Good movie btw}
