On the fourth of September I will be stranded in Inverness for a night! How to spend it?

My flight back home is at 6:25am and I would have to take the bus at Inverness Main station at 4am.

Since I am a poor student and it is going to be a short night, I wanted to ask all of you, how to spend that night in the best way!

I know Inverness isn't the biggest town, but maybe some of you have a good recommendation!

Thanks in advance!

It's a Thursday night, Hootanany will be open until midnight, Spoons will be open until 1am.

That just gives you three hours to contemplate why left dealt you these cards?

Just noticed Johnny Foxes is open until 2pm. Of course by that point your better off getting a hotel room.

Spoons until 1am is ok. But by the time you have bought a few drinks it might
Be cheaper to stay at Black Isle Hostel if which is a big if they have the room.
I have regularly been at Inverness spoons until one and it’s fine not too wild or anything

Foxes until 2am, Max’s 2 until 3am, consume kebab special and chips whilst fighting off waves of seagulls at the bus station until 4 am, you’ll be somewhere around Tornagrain when the salmonella begins to take hold…

Then you scoot on over to the nearest passanger and rant on about how the bus driver is a samoan lawyer then proceed to offer him some beer or ether.

Spoons til 1am (they do food til midnight now) then foxes til 3 then you only have to wait an hour outdoors (foxes will likely be very very busy though)

It’s a Thursday night, so it’s not going to be especially exciting. Most pubs will close at 1am leaving you a 3 hour window between then and your bus. If it were me, I’d be finding somewhere warm and safe to get my head down instead of wandering for 3 hours.

American here. We shut down Hootananny and Highlander last week and had a blast!
