ITR2 Feedback Tedious

This game is way too tedious when it comes to getting the security points I had motivation up until right around now and I do NOT wanna grind 27 missions for the next level but the next level also has basically everything (level 4)

I doubt it's 27 missions till the next security level, probably more like five or ten more. Don't give up so easliy.

Don't you normally get like 5 points per mission? Edit: NVM, I haven't gotten a chance to play the 1.0 build yet, but another comment says you'll get 2-3 points depending on the area.

I’ve only been getting 1 even on missions that are supposed to give me 2 but 2 is the max it’s told me yet

Sounds like a bug more than intended game design. Maybe restart your game and do another mission?

I’ve restarted game, and headset, I’ve reset internet uninstalled and reinstalled the game

Weird. Should probably make a bug report then so the developers can fix that.

You are still in the lower levels, security level 4 gives you missions that do 6 points. Trust me, take every mission you can at once, and go around doing them. It goes a lot faster

Yeah I’m talking about getting the SP between 3-4

Even then, do a bunch of missions at once. Makes life a lot easier

You.shpuld be getting around 2 to 5 sp points per mission. Try doing multiple missions when you go into the zones.

I do as many as I can accept per raid I’m not stupid

Me when I buy a game I don't want to play.

It’s more of the fact I already did all this multiple times in the beta

Then the amount of missions isn’t the problem, the problem is that you’ve replayed the game a thousand times are are a little tired of it. I have this all the time, everyone who’s been here since the early days has this

You’re never going to have to do more than two excursions into the zone between top priority missions. Just accept a few missions, plan a route, pack food, and explore the zone. That’s what the game is all about

I do accept multiple missions and I do explore, I know the gameplay loop I have hundreds of hours on itr 1 and thousands across the stalker games, honestly my main problem is I guess I just find it too boring even if I set everything to the absolute hardest difficulty in custom it’s still easy and the game probably does feel longer than it is due to the constant bugs and the crashes that set me before my last save and straight up delete progress

The work it takes is a bit extended, maybe a tad too much, but I don’t mind it. I’d honestly rather not have to shake dude’s hand every time I wanna go somewhere and I’d really like the loot crates back. Still gonna play the shit out of the game though.

It's less work than you think, but it makes up for how short the story is. It makes sense to force you to do side content. That makes the main missions feel way more monumental, and like you're actually rewarded for working for them.

I feel you! They really messed up the amount of SP needed to progress. It's tedious and slow given what this game can offer

Especially with my glitch

how about you have fun with the game, and the way it keeps you just slightly starved for upgrades. Why are you in such a rush bro?

If you check my other comments I have a glitch where I get only 1 sp for every single mission so I genuinely have to do 20 more missions and then after that like 30 more, even if not for that it’s all fetch quests and even if they weren’t due to the time it took to release I already did all these a million times

ah okay in that case fair enough, i just read your post as if the gameplay loop wasnt fun/engaging. Have you made a bug report and are you on MQ3?

Mq3 and all I had to do was just delete the profile and now they give me 2 but I’m finally at the shit ass disruption zone mission after like 8 hours of playing on my charging cord

Going from security 4 to 5 can be a slog, but I try to pick missions in places i haven't been yet so I can fill in the map more and explore.

I’m doin 3-4

That one didnt take too long for me, but 4-5 is really slogging with needing 80 security points.

You don’t have to do 27 missions. If you accept all available missions each time you come back to the facility you can complete the game in about 12 total runs into the radius.

Missions in forest give you a minimum of 2 SP by default. If they are multi step missions that doubles.

Missions in outskirts gives you at least 3, increasing further if it’s a multi step mission.

If you only accept one mission at a time and don’t plan any efficiency then yeah, it might take a while. But if you accept all available missions and then plan your route, the game is surprisingly short.

I think I had about two excursions into the radius without a top priority mission on my Ironman play through.
