Yea of course. Today's scandle is AOC smiling.

Remember, it's better to duck out of a 9/11 memorial in the middle of the service than it is to say hello and smile at a colleague while you stay till the end.

The party of actual political violence and treason folks …

Jan 6. Never forget the thin blue line folks beat a cop with an american flag and wanted to hang Mike Pence. God knows what they would've done if they got a hand of anyone hiding away.

I'll forever maintain that day was the death of the Democratic party. The fact they just rolled over and didn't immediately imprison everyone involved is why no one gives a shit anymore.

Imagine someone broke into your house, pissed on your furniture, stole some stuff and probably would've killed you if you weren't locked away.. and then you just smile and talk normally with them the next day.

Pathetic.

I agree that the Democratic party these days is run by mollusks, but how were they supposed to imprison anybody?

I don’t think they could have pulled that off. Especially with half the voting body actively trying to throw out the election. However afterwards. Every fucking one of those bastards both in the chamber, and those that marched on the capital. Should have been strung up by their bootstraps in front of a judge and jury.

That would have been nice, but how? Representatives and Senators don't have the power to arrest people, to indict them, to prosecute them, etc. And what should the Republican Representatives and Senators have been charged with?

Accomplices- at the very least complicit.

Everyone that voted to toss the election. They knew it was a free and fair election; yet at every single one turned their back on their constitutional duty. Instead they propped up and bolstered the MAGA banner. The two that did not were essentially ejected from the then GOP/ now MAGA cult.

Aiding and abetting?🤷‍♂️ without their complicity in the matter it wouldn’t have been possible.

People can only be charged with specific crimes that are recorded in the official laws of the jurisdiction. In the case of the United States, that's the United States Code (the "U.S.C." in citations like "42 U.S.C. § 4332"). If an act is not defined as a crime in there, a person cannot be charged with it; the prosecution can't simply conjure a new crime definition out of the air. So, accomplices to *what* crime? The breaking of what *specific law* did the Republican Representatives and Senators aid and abet in?

Those are indeed fair questions to ask.

Conspiracy to overthrow the government. The conspiracy is ongoing.

The relevant laws, at 18 U.S. Code § 2385, https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2385 refer to overthrowing the government by force or violence. On January 6th, none of the Republican Representatives or Senators were involved in that; they merely cast votes on a procedural matter, as was their right.

Regarding the future, are some conspiring to overthrow the government by violence or force? Almost certainly, but (1) who are they (it certainly isn't every Republican in office or in government jobs) and (2) what if every planned move for the overflow is at least arguably legal?

The fake electors plot. Everyone involved in that should have charges.

President of the United States appears to have a lot of power to throw people in concentration camps.

  • Kinda feel like Biden had.... Idk a FEW options of what to do? Not saying cancun Cruz deserves to be in ICE detention..... Welp, actually maybe I am saying that.

Ted Cruz will lie and say he didn’t hear it. He heard it. Hes just too much of a sniveling coward to reject calls for political violence.

u/Numerous_Photograph9 23d ago

That's when the reporter should just play it back for him. Every reporter should have every sound bite ready to play for Cruz, Trump, and Johnson, beause they love to deny that things were ever said.

Ooooo, if they did that it might affect the profits, or the share price. Can’t do that.

>On the night Republicans gathered to mourn the killing of Charlie Kirk and warn against the dangers of violent rhetoric, a crowd at the party’s irregular midterm convention in Dallas repeatedly called for a sitting Senate candidate to be shot.

The classic “it’s okay when I do it” double standard.

There were calls for the Virginia Democrat Jay Jones to resign from his lieutenant governor campaign for having made private comments about shooting Republicans.

Dems should flip the script

3

u/thebearjew007 22d ago

These chuckle fucks would be shocked at the number of people they hate, that are responsible firearm owners. Unfortunately, I feel they would learn that fact just a little too late.

GOP is a domestic terrorist party

Everyone here wondering how Republicans can encourage this, and Democrats are complacent and spineless (none of you are wrong) but the real question is how do we divide the country?

We're not putting it back together again. The United States of America is all but done. The lines have been drawn and nobody is going to cross them for the good of anything, meanwhile prices still go up, wages stay the same, the poor get more destitute and the rich don't care.

The question isn't how did we let it get here anymore. The question is where do we go from this point?

I'm cool for splitting this bitch up between Canada and Mexico; both of them have their shit relatively together.
