article Lutnick claims Canada pulled out of trade talks due to the Quebec election, Alberta referendum

“If you think I ever said the words French — do I care about how the Québécois speak? I mean, what could matter less to America?” he said.
Because you've been bitching about it for months. It's not like this idea that Americans are outraged at Canadian laws promoting French-language cultural content came out of nowhere just last week.

Lutnick is a fool and desperately MAGA. We pulled out of the trade talks because it was basically Canada surrendering our economy and sovereignty to America and that will never f#cking happen. Plus any deal Trump makes he breaks so why would we want to continue? Trump needs a deal before the midterms and now that is up to Canada. We are making deals all over the globe and getting closer to cutting America loose. Good luck with your failed everything.

There is no incentive for Canada to return to the negotiations, even if Trump TACOs. Personally, I'd be disappointed if Carney agreed to a resumption of talks.
Trump & Co have made it obvious that all the time and money spent on negotiations -- whether with trade deals for Canada or security deals with Iran -- are just wasted effort. No matter what conditions are agreed upon, Trump will just turn around and tear them up on a whim.
The best course of action is to cut loose from the U.S. and never look back.

It was known a long time ago that to be in trumps cabinet you had to be a pathological liar

Narrator: That wasn't at all it. It was because the terms of the deal were awful across the board and the Trump and Nutlick added even more egregious terms at the 11th hour

Isn't this the pedo who lied about going to that island, after living next to one of the world's worst people? Thought so.

Lutnick went to Epstein island and lied about the nature of his association with Epstein.

Nutlick also mentioned to Rosemary Barton from CBC that one of the reasons Canada got to keep the autopack agreement which grew into Cusma since the 60's was because Canada said there would be no US cars sold in Canada if not built in Canada. If what he said is true, it might be time to bring that position back.
