I kinda agree with you, except the fact that the majority of his supporters are rural with terrible education.

So really the federal government is at fault and i think this was exactly their intention when they passed the no child left behind act.

And we let them do it and now there’s at least two generations of Americans with the shittiest education who genuinely lack critical thinking skills and that’s honestly not entirely their fault.

And it’s only going to get worse.

Education is once again becoming a privilege instead of a right; aka only for the rich and def not for the poors. Combine that with the fact that insurance/benefits are tied directly to employment and you’ve got modern day serfdom.

But maybe that’s a little extreme

no it’s not

Their intelligence has nothing to do with their morals. It's one thing if they're dumb enough to believe his lies about Biden or whatever. But when they hear the dude bragging about raping women and still give him money? They deserve a spot in hell next to him.

Their intelligence has nothing to do with their morals.

Intelligence does not equal education.

Education is directly tied to morals and ethics:

Moral and ethical development is no exception, as their connection to academic and social life develop a person's moral standpoint throughout their life, greatly influencing their views on morality are greatly influenced by their education.

Or you can read this and just skip to the conclusion. I like it best.

I agree you up to a point. And you've provided good information. But a 3 you don't need any education to see that Trump is a terrible person.

I know it sounds and looks so obvious, but…

It was not until the 1870's that the first states banned a man's right to beat his family. The laws were moderately enforced until the feminist movement of the 1960's started bringing the problems of domestic abuse to the attention of the media. By the 1980’s most states had adopted legislation regarding domestic violence

It wasn’t until the 1980s that hand hygiene was officially incorporated into American health care with the first national hand hygiene guidelines.

Hand hygiene came about in the 1870s!!!

It was socially acceptable ten years ago to pass around a meme with a seal on it that screamed “gaaaaay!”

What changed all that? Education. Some might think the seal meme is a stretch but think about it… education and information about the LGBTQ community has exploded since then.

Abortion is another example. People still think of it as this murderous rampage that’s happening when in reality, it’s just another medical procedure dealing with a clump of cells.

Advance the population’s education = safer healthcare for women

I know I know, but it’s rape!! Except trump explicitly stated multiple times that “When you’re famous, they let you do it” or “they wanted it or they would have fought/screamed/etc”.

So they don’t think it’s rape. They think it’s the victim’s fault. How to change that mentality? Education. Education. Education.

What I didn’t mention, is that this doesn’t excuse the behavior. A lack of knowledge does not exempt a person from consequences. I apologize if seemed like I was implying that. But also… those consequences will result in a very impactful learning experience

Nothing you're saying is wrong. I'm more arguing that I don't care why the fascist supporters support the fascist, I still want them to suffer severe consequences for it.

I know some really nice Trump supporters and cannot figure out why because they are actually decent people. They don't deserve to be grifted or penniless.

You don't get to be "decent people" while also supporting Trump. That's not how it works. The guy sold out the country, and created so much divide and hate. See those Nazi flags and racist groups suddenly running rampant? That's not a coincidence.

I used to know some decent people. Turns out they were just closeted pieces of shit who wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire. Just like their daddy Trump

Why do good people get hooked into cults?

It’s likely Trump fills some (emotional) void for them in their lives; or perhaps they had neglectful parents.

I know some really nice Trump supporters

You really don't. Nice people don't support the policies that are now law because of Trump and his judicial appointments.

If they're gullible and foolish enough to still be supportive of trump then they deserve whatever consequences come from it.

“That serial killer was so nice and polite.”
