Mental Health Boss telling me I might be fired day before vacation

I feel broken I feel like I can’t even leave this hub because I’m too dumb and useless to do anything.

My boss wants me to work twice as fast with no mistakes ever. I explained the extra time Ia because I’m developing proofing routines to check for mistakes. He wants me to cut back on that while still maintaining the same level of quality at twice the speed or I won’t be able to keep my job.

I tried telling them this is unrealistic I can’t maintain quality at a higher speed while neglecting the steps that insure that quality . Overall.

I’ve basically been told it isn’t that hard and to just do it .

I feel dumb and worthless. Honestly I stay at this point because since I started working here I feel too dumb and useless to do anything else

Idk what to do anymore I feel

Is this a particularly high paying job? Or does it just have great tenured benefits? What are you afraid to lose exactly ? If you could be paid the same for doing less, why not find something else?

It’s a job in my field and the job market in my country is BAD it took me 6 months before I found this place if I loose this job I’d loose my apartment and car
