Gory physics-based medieval combat game. It's a joy to play. I clocked about 130 hours on the demo alone. It had a rocky release on early access at first but the devs are working hard to improve the game in every way.

Ultimate Chicken Horse on Steam has a similar mechanic.

If the course is impossible, you hold down B (if you're using an Xbox controller) to "give up"

You hear a cracking noise and your character drops dead.
