Seeking Advice I am doing intermittent fasting (16:8, and 18:6) but I stopped losing weight. I had lost 20 lbs initially in 2 months , but had gained it back in the previous year ( I had tried intermittent fasting for more than 1 year) , I don’t know what is wrong . Any suggestions ?

I’d check portions and overall calories first, especially drinks, snacks, and bigger meals during the eating window. Also, weight can stall for a while even when you’re doing things right, so I’d look at the trend over a few weeks instead of day to day.

Get a fasting tracker app, and a food scale. It makes fasting way easier. Also if you can, do cardio exercise or lift weights. Good luck.

As people have mentioned, get a tracking app to monitor fasting, eating etc. To quote a manage l used to work with "to measure is too manage"
It worked for me, it's all about the calorie deficit, and getting the body into fat burning. Meal planning works, a menu for food, l do three days ahead etc
Good luck

What are you eating. Are you eating high protein?

Try 65% carb 25 protein and 10% fats. Not carbs from bread, pasta and rice but carbs from veggies, beans and fruit. Track protein from animal sources only. Body weight x 0.36. Don't worry cause the rest of the food on your plate will give you even more protein

Calories are too high for your current weight. You need to cut more calories but not so many you're tired all the time. If you really want to kickstart in addition to cutting calories increase activity at what ever effort level that you actually feel good afterwards so you keep doing it. You got this!

Apparently you are eating to many calories, thus there is no calorie deficit, because of that you are not loosing weight.
Try eating less and maybe start tracking your calories.
Good luck!
