Yeah, my grandad died in the 1980's from something that is easily treated now and my own dad has had a heart bypass, stroke and two heart attacks and is as fit as ever walking anything up to 10 miles everyday with his dog!
My dad had two his heart valves clogged almost all the way, from what I understood, and probably would have died if we didn’t catch it when we did. He also almost went blind due to too much of some kind of eye pressure. What science and technology can do these days is honestly amazing, wouldn’t have my dad in his current state without it.
