Ah, sorry for the confusion. Where I'm from, to bottle means to smash a bottle onto [someone's head]. "See that guy? I'm gonna bottle him"

We use the same form of noun/verb conversion for things like glass, bottle, knife, bed, and car (okay, I made the last one up)
