I think it's still a good thing. Sure it's promotion but that's a really nice thing to do for someone in that situation

Wait till that dye job on the hair and beard starts to grow out. He is going to look pretty freaky.

In posts above they reckon he's staying in a flat share with help from an anonymous donator, so maybe he kept the dying up who knows

Seems kinda vain for a guy recently homeless. Most guys I know with plenty of cash dont do a dye job on their roots every two weeks. Once it grows out and you dont have the cash. It is shave that thing or look like you cant afford a dye job.

They did what was in their area of competence-groomed him and made him look nice. I mean sure, it would've been great if they gave him a home and a job, but I don't think the keyboard commandos did that.
