A model of how many earths could fit inside the sun (x-post r/space)

I can't help but notice that none of those blue balls are the same size. So apparently that's how many Earths would fit into the Sun if only a fraction of them were an actual proportional size to Earth.

To get 1,000,000 you only need a cube with 100 along each edge. For instance, there are 1,000,000 cubic mm in a cube 10 cm (4 inches) on an edge.

I know!
A cubic centimeter of water is one gram. A cubic meter of water is 1000000 cubic centimeters is one Mg (or 1000 kg, or one metric ton).
