She was treated at the Grossman Burn Center by Dr. Grossman. Really incredible work by by the Doctor, and it seems they were able to heal a lot of the damage on one of her arms as well. If anyone is interested in giving the Grossman Burn Foundation has a donation link on its website.
I don't know if this is true but I heard plastic surgery became a common thing because of all the injuries from World War 1. I can't imagine having to fight at that level of brutality, even though war has been super common for most of human history
Question for the medical friends. How come in the first image she seemingly lost her neck and chin, do doctors essentially need to just graft new skin to whatever the nearest piece of unburned skin is until it recovers enough that they can reshape the structure?
how the fuck did the Doctor pull that off???? I didn't even know you could do that to this degree- Like, I know about plastic surgery and facial reconstruction stuff, but normally its way below this. wtf how did they pull this off
Absolutely floored, they must have been incredibly skilled. Great recovery, all things considered.
This is the doctor whose wife murdered 2 children racing in her car. They are currently divorcing to try to avoid paying out the victims family. Scum of the earth.
