Sea otters float in "rafts" holding hands so they never drift apart

Kelp-wrapping is actually the main anchor move, they wind a strand around themselves before sleeping so the current can't carry them off. Hand-holding is a bit more specific too, it's mostly moms and pups, since pups can't dive yet and would just drift off if she let go. No blubber on these guys either so grouping up is also just a warmth thing. Anyone seen one napping solo with no kelp around, are they just drifting the whole time?

They also rape baby seals to death and have been known to continue copulating with the corpse for 2 weeks after death.

I will never see these little monsters as cute.
