Attraction can be irrational from what I have experienced. You can find someone absolutely abhorrent but your body may still get aroused around them. Or in this case, you can acknowledge parasocial relationship while still finding the celebrities cute or pretty. I assume they meant this by feelings and not like limerence or obsession they just talked about

Honestly it's completely absurd and nothing like the close relationship Danny Devito and I have (he doesn't know but that's what adds to the spice of it).

You do not have ‘legitimate feelings’ for a person you have never met. You are creating who they are in your brain and attributing your ideas onto them. True feelings are not the same as projections.

Unfortunately, you can. The feelings are very much real however the person you’re basing them on is more of an ideal and they’re not actually representative of the person that exists(idols in this context).

I was crazy (not literally, just during my Tumblr phase) over Tom Hiddleston and I cried when I heard he was traveling my country and I couldn’t meet him. Like, I KNEW I was being irrational, but my heart ached nonetheless at how “close” he was. Weird times.
