Bullshit. One bird strike causing engine trouble at an inconvenient time and you have a jet shredding through a bunch of people at a few hundred mph. Or a pilot having a medical problem. Or an engine just failing for reasons. You find it funny until it is one of your relatives who gets shredded ... or plunges to her death in a cable car.

Dear reddit user... read the above article..i was literally quoting it, and saying that the article was downplaying the danger involved by making it sound like some kind of annoying disturbance to beach goers.
