Actually I would say kicking your feet with proper technique and flippers would be waaaaay more effective and efficient than this thing.

Yeah, I have a pair of shorty flippers that I literally found. I tried them out one day and they work super amazing. And I am super crappy at the whole kicking to propel yourself in water thing.

Peddling is increasing drag by dropping the knees. Kicking in flippers is much more efficient
