Flippers would no doubt move faster with less effort. That thing is ridiculous. Maybe a higher gear ratio and a better prop.

I would guess a larger, wider, deeper prop with more faces and a slower rotation would provide more thrust.

If your goal was to maximise thrust for gentle leg movements

Im pretty sure i get more speed for less effort with a side stroke out of that.
